What do you guys think of chemistry? there's a lot of math behind it... what does god think of math?
There's a lot of information about chemistry (in fact im a student of chemistry finishing my bsc.) that explains a lot about our world. For example I highly doubt that you could use the computer that you are on right now if mankind did not use our god given intelligence to understand the chemical processes behind building such devices.
In fact a computer could not run without electrons powering it (electricity is just flowing electrons). Do you view science to be against god?

I don't know what kind of computer you have there, but mine works on God given American electricity.
And science doesn't have to be against God. Even though those gay orgy freaks at NASA might give off that impression. All science has to do is obey God's eternal (Deuteronomy 33:27; Jeremiah 10:10; Psalm 90:2) and immutable (Psalm 102:25-27; Hebrews 1:10-12; 13:8) laws.

Electricity is a very Biblical thing, friend (Psalm 18:14; Matthew 24:27)

Dear fellow American Christians,
in Czech Republic we, believers , believe that the Bible and science are not in contradiction at all. I am surprised to see that you don't trust the scientific table of elements as there are many manifests of them around the world - for example the uranium (I personally was affected by the explosion of Chernobyl, unlike you, so I know something about it). Is it possible you just didn't discover it in Bible yet? Maybe uranium isn't mentioned there literally but between the lines - what about the annihilation of Sodoma and Gomora? Possibly a nuclear blast?

WHAAAAAAAAT?
If God would've used "uranium" He would've mentioned that in His account of things, right? Let's see what the KJV Bible says:
(Genesis 19:24-25) "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground."
This is why things are so crazy in the world today and why people have drifted so far from His loving arms: they try to put their own "spin" on things in order to reconcile it with the demonic secular worldview, and in so doing they reject Him.
Bad idea.
Now, please make a thread of your own in the Introduction Forum so that we can greet you properly. We want to get to know you!
Yours in Christ,
Z. Smyth

God invented math, and He loves it like He loves all of His creations. That's why there's a whole book of the Bible devoted to Numbers.
Consider, for example, I Chronicles 3:22: "...the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six." So God clearly wanted people to understand arithmetic.

I'm still miffed that we use Arabic, or Sand Nig, numbers in God's country. If Roman numerals were good enough for Jesus, why not us?

Did this make you grow an extra eye? In such case you should be able to read the KJV 1611 Bible 50% faster, giving you a big advantage when being compared to your heathen colleagues around the world. Please pick it up and read now! Don’t waste any more time talking about stupidities like Urinium or the like. All you need to know is to be read in the Bible. Bear in mind, if it’s not in the Bible, it has no significance.
Stop whining
(1 Thessalonians 5:18) - In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
(1 Corinthians 10:10) - Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer
(Psalm 106:25) - But murmured in their tents, And hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD
(Ephesians 4:29) - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers

Chernobyl was God's hint to the commies that it was time to repent.

Perhaps all math except for set theory. I don't fully understand it, but apparently this is a modern attempt to redefine math in terms of socialism and homosexuality - no thanks. But I'll await clarification from the Pastors, maybe I mis-understood something.
