Re: Good afternoon, I am Sam -

Thank you for the warm welcome Pastor. I am married and have been so for almost 28 years. My wife has given me 12 strong sons. I am a Private Detective , I retired from the Cedar Rapids PD three years ago. I attend the First Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids, my Pastors name is John Finch. He and I have spoken many times of your fine Church and he speaks well of you.
I found Jesus as a rookie on the police force. I was working the grave yard shift on parole in the very worst part of the city. I had stopped to arrest a drunk who had passed out in the gutter, while cuffing him and gentleman came up to me and asked me to release the drunk into his custody. He told me that he was a Pastor at the Church just around the corner and that he wanted to try and help the fellow out. At the time I did not want to haul the drunk to the station. So I released him to the Pastor. A few months later I ran into the drunk. He was clean, he had shaved and was dressed in a new suit. He was handing out Bibles in the very spot that a few months ago I found him passed out in the gutter. When I asked what had brought about the sudden change, he told me that Jesus had entered his life and filled his soul. Fast forward 3 years, he became my Pastor John Finch. Pastor John helped me find Jesus the same way he found Jesus . A KJV1611 Bible, the same one i have this very day. Praise Jesus

Hi Sam welcome to God's Favorite Church®. I noticed that you said you where retired, why so soon? I am also retired as a municipal employee, the City Of New York offered a few of us early retirement .My Uncle had passed away the year before and left me with a large inheritance, so I went for it. Did the City of Cedar Rapids offer you a early retirement package? I have to admit I am a bit jealous of you, 12 sons wow, I have but 2.

Good day Brother Sam, it sounds like you are a masculine Christian; the sort that are sadly lacking from today's church.
Welcome to the only True Christian church in not only America but the world!
I pray in Jesus' name!!

James thanks for the welcome. I was forced to retire, medical reasons. Last year I had responded to a bank robbery call, my self and 15 other officers arrived at the bank. Inside there were 2 armed suspects and they had taken twelve hostages. I was in the middle of negotiations with the suspects when a rookie officer got a little jumpy whit his service weapon, his weapon discharged and I took a hit from a 9mm round. I do not blame the young man, I was the ranking officer on the call so its partially my fault. Any way I retired with a pension after 25 years of service.

Thanks for the welcome, I notice you are from the frozen north. My sons and I travel your way each summer to fish for Muskie and in the fall we hunt for elk. You most likely never heard of it Auld Reekie Lodge, north of Ontario

Well thank you, and might I add that's a noble profession you have. Last year I spent a few weeks in a hospital and I was taken care of by some very good ladies just like yourself. May the Good Lord bless each and everyone of you.

Congratulations young man. I do hope she gives you a son.
The Good Lord saw fit to bless my wife and I with 12 wonderful sons. Two of them James and Matt are in Afghanistan fighting the Muslim hoard . James is a Lieutenant in the US Army Ranger Battalion, Matt is a sergeant in the US marines. Sam JR and Michael are both in college and are preparing for Theology college. The other 8 boys range from 3 to 18 years of age. Tell me are you praying for a son? Never under estimate the power of prayer. If you are pure of heart and mind God will answer.
Praise Jesus.

We are having a son, according to my wife's doctor. She's a little over 5 months along, so we should be welcoming him into the world sometime in late August/Early September.

Welcome to these forums, Brother!
It's great to hear of the Lord's Blessings over your family. How many towelheads have your sons killed in Afghanistan?
Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
Praised be Your Glorious Name™.
Amen.

I really feel at home, it's a joy to attend.
Sorry it took so long to reply, I was waiting for my Sunday IM chat with my boys. Both get access time each Sunday after Church. As to the boys body count
James (RANGER US Army) 3, he spends most of his time in the mountains actively searching for Bin-Ladden. His 3 kills are all long range 700 yards plus, seems he is a very good shot.
Matt (US Marines) he has 17 or 18 kills. It seems the last fire fight he was in they ended up with 1 extra leg from a rag head so the Marines are not sure if it was a kill or not. Either way he slowed the rag head up a bit.
I pray for my boys each and every day that the Good Lord watch over them and protect them, if I may ask would you also pray for them. It never hurts to have more than one voice .
If I may leave these words with you.
Deuteronomy 20:10-17
When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.
And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:
Praise Jesus, I pray Jesus protect my boys James and Matt from the evil Muslim hoard, return them home when the job is done. Thank you Jesus for all that you have given me , Jesus bless each and every one of these fine Christians, I say this humbly in the name of Jesus Amen.

That is good that you are able to talk to them while they are away. May God watch over them and deliver them safely home.
Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of the wicked, for the evil man has no future hope, and the lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out. Fear the Lord and the king, my son, and do not join with the rebellious, for those two will send sudden destruction upon them, and who knows what calamities they can bring? -- Proverbs 24:19-22

Son it means a lot to me to have you pray for my boys.
Give this some thought young man
Genesis 15:15
And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
I hope you live to a good old age and enjoy that son of yours. Praise Jesus
