Ahhh, Kent Hovind. That is something completely different. A sledgehammer is a solid substance, not a toxin. You can't build a genetic defense against a solid weapon.
You can, however, grow an extremely thick and strong outer shell and grow massively in size. /joke
It is called adaption. Those who cannot develop resistances to such diseases tend to die off while those who do tend to thrive and prosper as they can't be killed of by it.
The explosive blast has nothing to do with it, as that is not something you can build a genetic defense against, unlike viruses/bacteria and biotoxins.

1. No it doesn't. Growing stronger doesn't mean you need to evolve. Man, if you say so you gonna offend a lot of body builders. See they eat a lot to get alltheir muscles build up. They slowly adapted to their environment. Most builders grow lots of hair too by the way. That proves they are becoming gorillas? Man, that's reverse evolution doesn't it?
2. Haha, bigger in size. Stornger in shell.. Can they sruvive? Please. Don't do things like shooting yourself in your foot.
3. Can human somehow "evolve" into survivng all sorts of cancer? No. But hey, good news. Apes can. We need to reverse evolved then? Hahah!

Now you're misconstruing everything and twisting it. It's none of that at all. Muscle builders build up their muscles, but that has nothing to do with their genes. The amount of hair you have does not by itself prove that you are close to any other species. Building a biochemical resistance is on the genetic scale, and that is why it happens.
Also, as for evolution, you seem to have a misconception, humans are not gorillas, we share a a common ancestor with Gorillas, but we are not them. Sure, we are apes, but that is due to taxonomy (which is, btw, made by a very devout God-believing Christian and creationist), or how we classify species.

Do you not understand what a joke is??
You can't build an adaption to a physical object like that. For example, if you have a hypothetical cockroach 500x500x500 feet in size made of a tough natural substance such as solid bone (not the pourous bones that humans have) and is a few feet thick, then that would work. But...the animal would die underneath it's own weight and whatnot and not be able to move.

No, because a cancer is not a virus. A cancer is a harmful mutation from our own genome, for the most part. You can't build a natural resistance against it because you can't build a genetic defense against your own genome within your own lifetime, and if your children inheret such a thing then even then it would still apply to your genome, not theirs and, as such, it would not help them much at all.

Common ancestor also means same grandpa. Also means we are related. Also means we're the same. So by your theory, you are obliged to call gorillas your cousin.
You see. Adaptation is never evolution. A lifeform grow adapted to environment to live. "Survival of fittest" never happen. It's not that we are fit enough to survive, it's we learn how to survive by our diet, our actions etc. It's not stongest that survive. Adapting to environment means learning how to survive or live under that condition. IT doesn't means we slowly mutated into able to live in that condition.
Adaptation never requires one to evovle. It is an obvious evidence of how a lifeform learned to survive under certain condition. Not mutated or evolve to fit the condition.
1. Human learned how to survive under extreme cold and extreme hot condition. Not mutated to fit in those condition.
2. Fish learned how to survive salt water condition. Not mutated itno fit in those condition.
Get your science, logic, and perhaps, if you are maths geeks, mathematics, right. Man...

Okay so the weeds got together and figured out the chemical composition of Roundup and how to combat it? How exactly does a weed adapt? Animals can move, animals can think, animals can even choose who they breed with, plants can do none of that stuff.
God put weeds on this earth as a punishment for Adam listening to Eve.
Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
I find it easier to believe that God has made these weeds resistant to remind us of our sin, than to believe that the weeds got together and figured out how to combat Roundup.

I fear that this is worse than it appears. Weeds are God’s living parable. They are a permanent symbol and the most holy representation of sinners:
M't:13:25: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
M't:13:26: But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
M't:13:27: So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
M't:13:29: But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
M't:13:30: Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
M't:13:36: Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
M't:13:38: The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
M't:13:40: As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
If Monsanto, at the behest of their master Satan and under the control of evil scientists, think that they can cure sin in the world by destroying what God has created FOR A PURPOSE, they are sadly mistaken.

Uhm, brother Bathfire? Landover Baptist Church (through it's offshore holdings) owns several thousand shares of Monsanto. I'm just sayin'.
