No, not even in secular science is theory taken as something that has repeatedly proven to be true. If it had been proven true it would be a fact. Not theory.

From the Oxford English Dictionary:
Sense 1 (our sense): A scheme or system of ideas or statements held as an explanation or account of a group of facts or phenomena; a hypothesis that has been confirmed or established by observation or experiment, and I propounded or accepted as accounting for the known facts; a statement of what are held to be the general laws, principles, or causes of something known to be observed.
Sense 2 (What creationists think it means): A hypothesis as an explanation; hence, a mere hypothesis, speculation, conjecture; an idea or set of ideas about something; an individual view or notion.

I agree with your definition completely, and by definition the "scientists" wrongly refer to EVILution as a scientific theory (sense 1) when it should be classified as a colloquial hypothesis (sense 2) , because they cannot "confirm nor deny their hypothesis through observation or experiment" There is no eyewitness to past events to cover 'observation' and the 'experiments' cannot be exactly replicated because, again the scientists must speculate on the conditions of the Earth at that time as they try to simulate the conditions of Earth's past. It is simply impossible to do. "Facts" in the sense of science are like shifting sands. They change time and time again, and just because many people hold the "facts" to be true--general laws, principles, or "known observations" means nothing to me. Romans 3:4. I believe that God gave us all free will to make our own choices. If you choose to deny God and go to hell with your homer buddies then have at it, but in your black, depraved hearts you should on a purely intellectual level acknowledge that it takes as much or more faith to believe in your "scientific" theory as it does to believe in God.

But it's not, evolution is classified, in literature, biology, geology, physics, astronomy, in fact, it accepted in every field of every subject, including, 70% of theologians
As "Description1" not "2"
because they cannot "confirm nor deny their hypothesis through observation or experiment" There is no eyewitness to past events to cover 'observation' and the 'experiments' cannot be exactly replicated because, again the scientists must speculate on the conditions of the Earth at that time as they try to simulate the conditions of Earth's past. Which is fine, they don't have to mean anything to you, they WILL remain FACTS regardless of your subjective position to them, even to you
But to give a more logical analogy, one I use often.
Most murderers are convicted and sentenced in the same way. Rarely does anyone actually witness the act of murder take place, instead an investigator will retrieve the evidence and therefore provide a "beyond all reasonable doubt" meaning with the absence of all unproven absurdity it IS fact.
. If you choose to deny God and go to hell with your homer buddies then have at it, but in your black, depraved hearts you should on a purely intellectual level acknowledge that it takes as much or more faith to believe in your "scientific" theory as it does to believe in God.

Dear Godmocking Monkey-Worshiper;
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule of worshiping satan and sodomizing anyone with a dollar to post this hateful message. The Holy Bible tells us that we are actually Blessed by your persecution! Thanks for proving that we're right.
Quote:
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Huh Pastor we meet again
First: "Godmocking Monkey-Worshiper"? I don't know why you guys think making comments like this is offensive, it's like the "fag loving" thing. As an atheist "Godmocking" is surly going to be reasonable assumption, and monkey lover? well in the absence of a deity in my reality, I do think People are amazing, and in this world on nonsense and chaos, humans have brought, redemption, organisation, morality and significance etc, to life on Earth, and out of 7 billion humans, it's only the extreme minority that ruin it, with crime, and inhumane acts. And as humans are bi-pedal apes, of the genus homo-sapian, with a ll that said i could definitely be considered a monkey worshipper.
So yet another true statement
Worshipping satan is ridiculous for me as an atheist
Nothing wrong with sodomy, and we use pound sterling over here not dollars
Well I haven't proved you right, that was a sort of "stab in the dark" statement wasn't it? And I'm glad that you'll find salvation in my real persecution
What else do want me say?
If you ask me a genuine non-bigoted question using intelligence then you have a chance of making me look silly, but if you keep throwing out bigoted nonsense then you won't
Thanks again Pastor

Just back from chatting with Lucy Fur, who I don't believe in.
As anyone with an iq above 70 will tell you, humans DID NOT evolve from monkeys. No real scientist ever said that we evolve from monkeys. Maybe someone told you this and you believed this, but we DID NOT. We share a common ancestor, but we did not evolve from them. That is why I hate it when some uneducated people say "If we evolved from monkeys then why aren't the monkeys turning into people?".

Read some of Richard Dawkins books. I suggest his most recent, also, evolution can be proven and has been proven through a test. I said earlier to search the Iron Cay Lizards. As I said, scientists put lizards on an uninhabited island. Years later they find the lizards though now evolved better suited to their environment with better jaw structure and digestive systems.

Friend, all this proves is God's awesome mercy!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

We believe in microevolution over the past 6-10k years. We just don't believe that people came from monkeys.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

"Evolution" in the way you're using it, doesn't exist. Microevolution, the kind that explains different dog breeds, or a lizard adapting to a new climate, is a merciful adaption applied by the LORD. Now, if those lizards evolved into ducks, I'd be impressed.

Isn't this whole thing meant to be against evolution? Yet you warp the Church's beliefs to fit in with society as it changes. So you believe in evolution yet are against evolution? Interesting.
