I think I understand. The Catholic church uses Mary as a propaganda tool in order to entice slow-witted middle and lower equatorian peoples to disregard their aboriginal pagan rituals for Catholic rituals. I think I remember Jesus teaching about that.
Matthew 5:17-18 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

This is a fair exposé of the deception of The Mother of Whoredoms and I thank you for your frankness!
The only trouble is when the Darkies learn the truth, they may go back to their old ways of eating people who are not related to them and failing to recognize the white man as a natural leader

CATHOLIC TRADITION - Purgatory, nuns, popes.
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS - None of these is mentioned in the Bible. It is a sin to add to the Bible.
Not to start any form of argument or controversy...but if I am not mistaken, the bible was written by man...thus that statement would make us seem to be all following a band of sinners. Now I can see the logic in a lot of these....but that one just fails to make sense to me.

Ah, but Catholicism (Mary-worship and Pope-worship and Cracker-worship) makes sense to you?

I'm actually not a Catholic...my father is. I have little respect for them from personal experience. I think you may have misread my statement.
What I had meant was that the bible was written by man, correct? So how is adding things to it a sin?
(I don't promote cracker worship...that's silly.)
Maybe I worded it funny. At any rate...it was to find an answer to how the now slightly reworded question makes any sense.

The Bible is God's Word. It's what He wants us to read, pure and simple. It says so.
If this wasn't true and He wanted it to say something different, it would. He created the entire universe, so He could very easily change the words in a few billion Bibles. Has He? No. Therefore, it's what He wants us to read.
Adding to it or deleting from what God has given to us is a sin.

How's that for a reason?
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Nothing has been added to or taken away from KJV1611

You know full well that no reliance is to be placed upon the Apocrypha. If it is in KJV1611, it is merely a repeat, if it is not in KJV1611 it is unreliable. Not only that, it speaks of Salome doing unspeakable things that caused her hand to wither plus many other ridiculous fairy stories.
I note the Catlix make a big thing of the Apocrypha, and that alone should be enough to convince any sane person that it is rubbish.

The church should be preaching KJV1611. If it’s not doing that but rather pretending to do black magic by turning wine into blood, then it is not a church. (Which Rome is not, it is a business conglomerate backed by Satan.)

Yes. If it is in KJV1611 it need not be in the Apocrypha, if it is in the Apocrypha and NOT in KJV1611 it is unreliable and should not be treated as Scripture.

Well, there ain’t no secret about what good old Brother Jessup thinks about them blasphemous, heathen Catholics and their fearless leader in the Vatican:
Wake up people! The Protestant Reformation happened almost 500 years ago! Get with the program! Your beloved beanie wear’n Pope is obsolete; he’s nothing but an old man in a dress and funny hat who’s been given a cushy job because he’s too darn old to molest little boys.
The Honorable Brother Jessup T. Lloyd has spoken……..…Amen!
The Lord’s Hang’n Judge – convicting the wicked and condemning the heretic!
Quote:
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. (Revelation 19:11)

1. "whether by word, or our epistle." = Tradition and Scripture.
2. What are to make of the beginning of verse 15 where it says to "stand fast and hold the traditions"? Was the Apostle Paul wrong in making such a statement?
Quote:

I could say several things regarding this statement but it looks like you have entirely missed the point. The Scriptures testify to the fact that the church is the final authority. We saw this when the Blessed Lord spoke those holy words in Matt. 18:17. Let me ask you this, if the Scriptures are the final authority then why did not the Lord say so in this verse? The truth of the matter is that he did not. He made the Church the final authority in disputes.

As for the church being the final authority. Well, first of that's not what Jesus is saying in that verse. Second, let me ask you something. Why is it that since Vatican II, you are now allowed to eat meat on Fridays but before it was considered a mortal sin? Was the church wrong before? Is the church wrong now? Is the Laws of God as expressed through the church changeable with the times? If the Pope declared that divorce and abortion and adultery were okay, would God be "Bound" to "bind in heaven" what was "bound" on earth?
Why has it taken so long for all the practices of the modern church to come into place if Jesus' founded Catholicism? Or did the 12 Apostles dress up in fancy robes and say the exact same thing for one hour every Sunday in a building full of statues and paintings while the people got a good aerobics work out of sitting, standing, and kneeling before a piece of bread, all in Latin (oh right, why is it that you don't have to say it in Latin anymore???)

If the pope of Rome has so much faith in God, why does he run around in a bulletproof outhouse like that ridiculous "popemobile?" You don't see me or the other True Christian™ Pastors doing that!
Of course, we pack heat...
