Wow. Just wow. Sister Joanna was right, and I was too much of an optimist, again.
Well, dear Bishop, I will try to explain it to you slowly.
Do you have a King James Bible near you? Take it into your hands. (If you don't have a hard copy, you can go to
www.kingjamesbibleonline.org ).
Now, look at the table of contents. In most printed Bibles, you should be able to have one that lists the books of the Bible in alphabetical order. Do you see the name "John Wesley" anywhere there? No? Well, here is your answer. John Wesley did not write a single book of the Bible, therefore he is not someone that should be followed if you want to be Saved.
Now, the Bible also offers us helpful descriptions of how Hell looks:
Matthew 13:50 - And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
2 Thessalonians 1:9 - Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Revelation 20:15 - And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
So basically, "going to Hell" means "being punished in an everlasting lake of fire forever and ever."
Was this response helpful? I really hope so.
