The other day, while I was shopping with my kids at the local garment district, I overhead two triggered teenagers shout at a swarthy Mexican homeless person on the curb. One of them called him a *full rant censored* Stupid, old "Peter puffer".
I've never heard such an odd term.
I've come to believe it means ones who denies St. Peter.
My female mind (that only gets older over the years) confuses easily on these fancy terms kids come up with. Is this some vague insult created by the Catholics? I admit, I scoffed when I first read the Bible, and read his thrice-denial of Jesus (before I got the part of his reaffirmation during the resurrection). What that have made me a Peter puffer in that moment?
