No one said the act of consuming corn was an abomination here, however a woman who deep-throats a buttery cob like a whore, is surely on the path to Hell.
Tooth brushes are wonderful things from God that make an easy way of riding oral demons, sure you could just "rinse" but when God has given us such a wonderful tool, you suggest we look at Him and say "nah..no thanks."

Brother Campbell, at least we know that corn is not damned joo corn.
I can still remember the day my Father slapped the corn cob out of my Mothers mouth. It was an important lesson for all the women in my family, one that bares repeating - thank you Brother Faith.

The KJV Bible has 168 references to Corn, none of which say that it should be eaten smothered in butter by women. Which (per)version do you read? You seem to be a cherry picker, do you go to the United Church by any chance?
Matthew 23:26 is part of a condemnation about Pharasee's not following the law, yet you believe that "common sense" is more important than the law.
Mark 7: 21-22, we're talking about women having sexual thoughts here, those do not come for inside?
As for the Romans quote, I suggest you read all of Romans 14. You are the one putting up stumbling blocks with your presumptious ideas that "common sense" is more important than THE WORD OF GOD!
|
1. Let me qualify my statement... Find me an applicable verse of scripture about corn, and I'll quote that.
2. Please find the scripture which says a toothbrush should have tooth paste put on it. Also... If the corn does not have butter, does that make it acceptable? You seem to be implying that, I just want to clarify.
3. Please find where I stated "common sense is more important than THE WORD OF GOD" I don't believe I made that assertion. All of my comments are recorded and open to re-reading. Common sense or reason was created by God and given to man and no animals and is one of many things that separates man from beast. God gave it to use so that we may use it. It is one tool towards understanding and is a compliment to scripture, but does not supersede it. If you are unable to use reason, then I suppose that would be a stumbling block... In which case, I am sorry for causing you to stumble.
4. The OP was not talking about thoughts, they were talking about training, I brought up the thought issue when I questioned where the OP's thought life must be if that act brought up such a disturbing concept in his mind and suggested he may want to work on that (thought not in those EXACT words).

Well... I would question the motives of anyone who did THAT with corn... But I don't think that's what we were discussing. Maybe you should try and keep your mind "out of the gutter" as the saying goes. We were discussing the eating of corn, and I believe the OP provided an illustration to assist you if you get lost.
God gave us the tooth brush? On which day of creation was the tooth brush created? And in the same vein, didn't God give us corn? Does he not wish corn to be eaten? Or is it just to be eaten by males only.

Not specifically about corn, However....

Once again, nobody is saying that eating corn is a sin. Sheesh, you do love to twist things, don't you.

You said that the Bible must be read with Common sense, therefore you need to twist it around in your own mind to support what you want to believe. Realize that most so called Christians are going to Hell. The only way to avoid it is to read your Bible and FOLLOW IT! Not twist it around saying "this doesn't matter any more" and "this really means...."

Read your Bible! Women are evil things that need to be kept in line! I used to allow my wife on here and your type caused her nothing but trouble and before that I would have stated that I believed her faith was unshakable!. She wasn't losing her faith in God, but it was changing, turning. She was skipping her wifely duties in order to sit on here and argue with people. So she is now banned.

Barring reason from scripture readon produces the view that scripture says women should not eat and then clean up afterward... I see no mention of corn, or relation to our discussion of the current topic.

You asked if it was the putting butter on corn that made it a sin. No it's not the use of butter on corn IT'S USING CORN TO FULFILL SINFUL ORAL FIXATIONS! But hey, as long as a whore will give you what for, you'll tell her it's not a sin, won't you .....nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

I go by the preponderance of evidence here. The woman's hair is disheveled, she appears to be in a state of almost complete undress (with only a single thin black strap still remaining over her right shoulder), she is gingerly gripping the shaft stalk with her bare fingers (as opposed to using one of the commercially available holders), she is signaling by an unmistakable wink in her left eye what she is going to do once she finishes nibbling, and her mouth is obviously open to accept the full diameter of the object she is holding.
A picture of innocence – I doubt it.

is training really the apt word here?
Maybe you guys are starting to rub off on me but I can safely say that if I take a wife and she treats my appendage like that I wont even be telling once
For those who pretend to know the will of God- Romans 1:21-23 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

The worst part about eating the corn is when you get the hairs stuck in your teeth. Or whatever that stuff is.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I agree. There's nothing worse than chowing down on a corncob, swallowing all the juicy goodness, and finding hairs stuck between your teeth!

For some reason, you seem to be telling me I should spend more time thinking about oral sex. Thanks, but I'm going to decline to do that.

WELL, we can agree on that. IF that's what a corn is being used for then I could see your point, but I'd say that's pretty rare and, perhaps, exclusively limited to frequent visitors of this forum.

AH, but you do run it through a filter... How can you not. Your filter told you that eating corn off the cob is sinful for women... Without your filter and left to the strict letter, you would rather come to the conclusion that women eating at all and wiping afterwards is sinful. I don't know... Maybe you do feel that way. Do your women allow themselves to remain soiled after a meal if they happen to spill a little on themselves?

I will acknowledge that you don't know me, but to say I follow a "hippie Jesus" is a bit of a leap. Just because I challenge you to think beyond the blatherings nonsensical statements and unsupported (or, at best ILL supported) "revelations".
You are welcome to continue in your ignorance and not to consider what I say seriously. But I enjoy our little back and forth.
As a side note... I think this emoticon is sinful: and should be banned because it depicts the devil. Frankly, I'm shocked to find it in this type of forum, as pious as the members pretend to be.

Yeah, that's what I was telling you need to do.
And, if that's the way you really took it, I think you're probably beyond help. I'm pretty sure you're old enough to know that I was saying that you obviously think about it too much now. This post implies that you might even have an obsession with it, but I'm not sure I'd go that far. Don't feel too bad though, if you work on eliminating those thoughts and controlling your thought life through meditating on God's Word, you should eventually pass away from such sinful desires.

Look, I provided scripture to back up my assertion that eating corn on the cob is a gateway to oral sodomy, and I provided a quote from a secular etiquette book offering a simple and easy solution:
Simply use a knife to remove the kernels of corn from the cob prior to consuming them.
Why aren't you willing to take such a small, quick action in order to avoid polluting your mind and body with acts of simulated oral sex?

This unsaved arguing trash is beyond help. He probably still drives one of those standard cars, gripping that shaft, stroking it into different positions. Add that do this cob gobbling, banana fellatio sodomizing sick mind, and we have one Hell bound person.

I'm a little confused. Because, first of all it's corn. It's just food and some people like it off the cob. And, second of all, I'm pretty sure that that's not how someone prefers to exhibit oral sex. Biting is probably a no, as is coming at it from that angle. I'm trying to find a better way of wording it, but I can't seem to, I apologize.
(PS: I am not trolling and I am not flaming. I'm just wondering.)

I did make one...
