Yet another Catlick Bishop, Eddie Long, has been exposed as a child abuser!

Where do they find these people???

LITHONIA, Ga. – The famed pastor of a Georgia megachurch said Sunday that he will fight allegations that he lured young men into sexual relationships, stressing that he'd be back to lead the church the next week.

Addressing a Church sanctuary packed with thousands, Bishop Eddie Long neither discussed specifics of the lawsuits filed against him nor flatly denied the accusations. But he drew thunderous applause when he addressed his flock publicly for the first time since the first lawsuits were filed several days ago.

"There have been allegations and attacks made on me. I have never in my life portrayed myself as a perfect man. But I am not the man that's being portrayed on the television. That's not me. That is not me," he said as applause interrupted him during the first of two services Sunday morning.

Please... this man is a Baptist and could never pass the stringent requirements of the Catholic Priesthood.

His lavish life-style, sumptuous Church and penchant for boys above legal age sure says "Not A Catholic!" in garish neon lights.

I think you owe every Catholic an apology for insinuating that one of our dear, wholesome and loving brethren would go to such lengths to seduce young adult men. It just isn't the way of Rome.

That could well be the case, Reverend. Of course, no one has to claim to be a Mary-hailer to make the Roman institution look bad; bona fide death-cookie-munchers do that all by themselves.

I see in his bio he has received many awards for his work with youth.

The article that you linked to did say that he was a Baptist.
And I think there are other churches (besides catholic churches) that use the title of "bishop".
