So religion should only be convenient? We should only seek God when we selfishly need something? Wow.
You are trying to make Christianity into something silly. Stop it.
God rightfully requires that we follow ALL of His Word ALL of the time.

No i was saying that it is a GOOD thing when it's helping people but when all it does is try spread hate and FORCING it down peoples throats when they already
believe in something else
we all have beliefs for our own reasons like e.g you believe in Christianity because the bible tells you to, i believe in atheism because there is physical evidence supporting it

Please make a thread of your own in the " Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.
And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.
I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Religion only looks "hateful" to the person who harbors guilt. It only looks like "force" to the person who knows his sin is disgusting. Ultimately, it is only offensive to one who is embarrassed with himself. In reality, Christ has come to unload one's burdens. What we do is help people recognize their burdens, expose them to the shackles of their sin. Children are simple creatures, and very trustworthy. We cannot afford to let them trust just anyone you see. You know what they say, if we don't train our children how to think, the World will train them not to.
So, you see, it's for their own good. Yours too.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

What you call "forcing" down the throats of others, we call proselytizing or witnessing, or doing as Jesus commanded. Unless you are a True Christian™ your beliefs are wrong and taking you to hell. It is our duty, as directed by Jesus, to point this out and try to get people off of the swift path to hell and lead them lovingly towards salvation.

Mark 16:15 (1611 King James Bible)
And he said vnto them, Goe yee into all the world, and preach the Gospel to euery creature.

Where is the "physical evidence" supporting atheism? You think the universe just happened with no cause? You think a universe so perfectly suited for life just happened by chance? Tell me why you think these things without an appeal to human authority.

That is the point, kid. Jesus will toss your children into Hell unless you teach them to hate you as He commands.

So you are a peace loving hippie who doesn't believe in punishment? You would allow child rapists to teach little children instead of punishing them? You would allow Obama voters to vote again? You make me sick and I hope you get a well deserved rape by one of those rapists you didn't want to be punished.

A serial killer of course. Which would be a great improvement over my current neighbor, Mrs. Johnsson. She keeps calling the police whenever I burn a tiny bit of garbage.

Re: The Christian guide to TORTURING your children -

It is important to Put Jesus First and to read The Bible.
THE BIBLE
Proverbs 20:30 The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.
KJV .. look up . context
We know of course that strict discipline is not enjoyable. It is not intended to be. But the heathen overlooks the most important element of discipline. Injury.
God is very clear in His information here. It is the injury which addresses evil. Not just any old injury, the quick cut from a cat o' nine tails for example which heals in a day or two. God explains that the wound resulting from injury needs to turn blue. Otherwise the child, born brim full with sin, remains evil. Now I am aware that the liberal agenda has some other standard, one deriving from the burblings of John Maynard Keynes whose insanity brought down the global financial crisis, but it is not God's standard.
MORE BIBLE
Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
KJV .. look up . context
To be chastened is to be humbled. God's direction to parents is very explicit. It is explicit because it is important: discipline should cause injury and the wounds should become septic. That is what blueness means.
Look what He did to Jesus.
Has the Divine standard therefore lapsed? Not according to Hebrews, which I have already quoted. Continuing with God's ongoing revelation: His assurance that the connection between discipline and Salvation is real and still in force and the responsibility of every parent:
GOD SPEAKING
Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
KJV .. look up . context
Chastening is a duty of parenthood? Yes. The family depends on it.
GOD EXPLAINS
Ephesians 3:13-15 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,.
KJV .. look up . etymology vv14, 15
The Bible is explicit and consistent. The Bible is the inerrant word of God. And where discipline is described there is no room for doubt, parent and child alike know that injury is essential for the removal of evil, the evil in every baby's heart, communicated to us all from Eve.
Strict discipline must engender wounds, the stripes of the lash, the blueness of infection. Yet knowing this, the liberal cries "torture" and would send the children to HELL. FOREVER.

You people must be mentally challenged. First off explain why the bible says the world is merely thousands of years old when there is proof of it being billions of years old. Second if you think that torturing your children is the right way to tech them you are all old senile piffles who need to be tortured and harassed yourself. Third if you think diseases like Downs Syndrome and Autism are fake and the people are pretending I hope one of your children are born with the disease so you can see how it is. Fourth All of you are close minded blind eye following retards of a book that has no proof that a word in it is truth. I hope this post shows you how truly retarded you people actually are.
