Ah yet another blissful year of being a hard working True Christian Wife and Mother. I am sending off a Mother's Day tithe to Pastor Ezekiel. Never has being a mother felt so worth it from all the sleep deprived years until I may finally meet my aeternal bride-groom, Jesus.

I want to warn the women of Freehold not to get big heads over this mothers day thing. You are only doing what God put you on this earth to do and frankly I thing you could be doing it with a lot less pissing and moaning. If anyone should be celebrated today it's God. He created women and mothers, though sometimes I think he did so just to test me.

Indeed. I caught my wife slacking this morning, and already had to administer some corrections.

Just because she had to nurse every couple of hours last night is no excuse not to have pancakes ready for the rest of the kids.

A good mother should shine on Mother's Day.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

Every Mothers' Day, my husband and sons do nothing, nothing at all. I do absolutely everything (aided by my daughters) including dressing them and spoon feeding them. It shows to me, how much I'm needed; how much they depend on me. What better Mothers' Day could a mother have?

It should also be remembered that Mother's Day is not for unwed mothers. The children of unwed mothers are a punishment from God for their wantonness. They are not something to honor you. On the same note divorced mothers are not welcome at the celebration, nor are women who produce only daughters.

Women are a greedy and selfish lot and if given an inch they will demand a mile. Men be extra vigilant on this day and keep your women firmly in hand!
