Please cite your peer reviewed evidence, compatible with a Biblical standpoint of course. The idea of the Earth being shaped as a ball is as ludicrous as thinking the Earth was caused by a giant bang. It's not only unscientific, but embarrassing! Thank goodness God didn't create our earth in the shape of a bowling ball, we would all be parachuting away like suicide jumpers in Asia! Admit it, you are about as scientifically savvy as a stump. Exodus 24:9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
10And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

They saw God's feet actually standing on the solid, blue firmament. This is a direct eye witness account from Moses himself which I think even the most cold hearted atheist must admit is a reliable and trustworthy source,

The earth is round, but disk shaped. When you travel across the world, you are simply sailing in a circle.

As you can clearly see, ice covers the edges of the world, so obviously ships would be forced to go in a circular direction to reach the other side.

According to your pet theory if you travel in a straight line you end up in space with earth curving away like a ball. Yet you are quick to claim what appears to be travelling on a flat, level surface is actually describing a curved path. We just don't notice that what we think is straight is a curve.

Yet again we see the scientist trying to have it both ways. If you think the Earth is flat then what about satellite images and don't give me any bible quotes because they don't actually prove it, give me cold hard facts which scream at me with truth.
