And then there were none. Catholic GOP candidates, that is. -

Nutt Gingrich has made it unofficial. Following his shellacking on Tuesday, in which Ron Paul and not-even-running Rick Santorum took turns creaming him like so much wilted spinach, Gingrich will officially suspend his agonizing "cam-pain" and endorse Gott Mit Uns Romney next week.
The last Catholic GOP candidate is done. No pagans in the White House!

Now it's down to a flippin moslem and someone who wears magic underwear and has 4 dads and 6 moms.
Can we do away with the 2 term limit and bring Dubya back? Please?

. . . and Wrong Paul.
Don't forget Wrong Paul.
He only needs something like 103% of the remaining delegates to win.

I'm looking forward to a mormon in the white house. Whatever could go wrong?

I'm excited about Mitt Romney as our next President! We need a successful businessman as our leader in these tough economic times, just like we needed the steadying hand of businessman George W. Bush to guide us through the early stages of the crisis of the Obama recession. It's true, as a Mormon, Mitt is doomed to burn in Hell, but if you look at the Bible, you'll see that God often annointed leaders who were less than perfect in their personal lives. Besides, Mitt's a genuine severe conservative. It's time to circle the wagons and rally around the flag.

The Godly GW Bush had the queer as the three dollar bill Karol Rove on his staff. The precident is there; the GOP's big tent is open to gays who hate gays.
And I will say it again; Mitt Romney ran the worst primary campaign in history, bar none.
He was competing against an anarchist, the village idiot, a reality show huckster, a crazy cat lady, two disgraced politicians, some random guy on a book tour and two people no one cared about. For being a successful severely conservative governor of a liberal state, successful businessman and having six years to prepare Mitt could only defeat this motley crew in a long drawn out battle that took half a year. Every chance Mitt had he humiliated himself and did his best to convince the nation that Mitt Romney is a space alien from the planet Money here to kill our grandmothers.
Yet Mitt won.
Just like GW Bush this makes no sense. There is only one explanation; The Hand of God. That is only way someone so utterly incompetent at politics could win the Republican nomination.
And that is why I support Mitt.

How soon they forget; The Donald.
The main point is none of them should have lasted a day next to Romney with Romney qualification. Yet Mitt managed to turn each and every one in to a fight to the death over his political futures. Heck, Romney should have been able to outright buy Trump and Newt like an old Steel Mill. Instead Romney wasted millions on campaign ads.

Here, he is a classic example of Romney the space alien. Romney is claiming that Obama has weakened the United States against the Soviet Union!
CAUTION: Commie sight, since thankfully Godly Fox News has the sense to hide this disaster.
http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/20...ref=fpnewsfeed
“We’re seeing the Soviets pushing into the Arctic with no response from us. In fact, the only response is to announce the early retirement of the last remaining icebreaker.” [...]
“You know, Russia is another example where we give and Russia gets and we get nothing in return,” Prosper said. “The United States abandoned its missile defense sites in Poland and Czechoslovakia, yet Russia does nothing but obstruct us, or efforts in Iran and Syria.” The Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia haven't existed for fifteen years now. Somehow Romney, who by his own accounts travel to Europe a lot missed this.
Yet this guy managed to get the nomination. Hand of God right there.

of course!
He never was in the debates, so I forgot all about him.
And you make an excellent point about Romney. God used these clowns to publicly vet Romney, so he would be tested before going up before ZerObama!
I don't know about you, but I'll be wearing my mittens to the voting booth come November. Wouldn't that be the ideal rallying cry? "Got Mittens"?

You mock Mitt, but you do so at your own peril.
He's going to take care of you secularists, and your war on religion:
Quote:
"I think there is in this country a war on religion," Romney said before raising that above-noted specter of Obama’s "desire to establish a religion in America known as secularism." He continued, "They gave it a lot of thought," this business of forcing the Catholic Church "to violate its principles and its conscience (since when do institutions have "consciences"?) and be required to provide contraceptives, sterilization, and morning-after pills to the employees of the church" (a lie, by the way: employers don’t have to provide anything).
Note the careful language: Democrats want "to establish a religion" — a precise quotation of the First Amendment’s’ Establishment Clause banning same. And the claim that "they gave it a lot of thought" insinuates a deliberate conspiracy. But conservatives would not fall for it, the stalwart Romney announced: "Those of us who are people of faith recognize [what] this is—an attack on one religion is an attack on all religion."
|
Back in 1961, the Supreme Court declared "Secular Humanism" a religion. Since then, that cult has been working to undermine God in America.
Mittens Romney is going to stand up against your kind, and stamp out secularism!

Old 'Oven' couldn't beat Nichol in an arm wrestle even after her Baptist ex-husband cut her like a one legged punter at Spring training for the Patriots.
If he does win just what kind of SCOTUS nominee will he bring to the Senate?
It is hot enough wearing those black robes but imagine adding a layer (lawyer) or two of magic underwear while trying to explain how The Garden of Eden was actually in Missouri.
Clearly, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has no interest in defeating the sitting President or he might have seen to it to provide somebody who is not a Tom Cruise movie short of an 'E'-meter reading.
Yes, old Rick was duller than a Pompeii fresco and Newt a few wives short of a Mormon prophet but seriously... you dullards are firmly behind a Latter Day Saint like Richard Simmons taking snaps from Elton John?
Bless you, my second term Obamists,

I wouldn't say I'm behind Mitt like a Catholic priest behind an altar boy, no.
I'm more in "lesser of two weevils" mode. It's Muslim vs. Mormon, after all.
And if the Mormon picks Ted Nugent as his VP, then one stray arrow and it'll be President Nuge!

The wife we've seen with Mitt is a beautiful woman.
In the back of my mind, I can't help but worry. Can we Republicans be absolutely certain she is the only one?
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.
