Alabama Church takes Bible literally. Woman stoned to death for working on Sunday or the Sabbath.

Huntsville, AL — A 31-year-old pregnant woman, wife and mother of three, was brutally murdered after she was seen working on Sunday, or the Sabbath, by a fellow member of the church.

Brandy Hull, a devoted member of ‘Paul Church’, a church which takes the Bible literally, was working at ‘Hank’s Bass Pro Shop’ on Sunday when she was confronted by churchgoer Richard Mayo. Employees say a heated argument broke out which forced store manager Steve Wesby to intervene and remove Mayo from the premises. When Hull left work later that day, that is when Mayo attacked the woman. Mayo began throwing large rocks at Hull until she was bludgeoned to death.

Mayo killed Hull based on the Bible’s teachings of verse Exodus 31:15 which says that for six days work is to be done, but the seventh day is a day of Sabbath rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day is to be put to death.

Detective Thomas Kelly held a press conference on the church’s steps to discuss the case and answer questions for reporters. “At this time we believe 58-year-old Richard Charles Mayo acted alone. There is no evidence of other individuals who were involved or conspired with Mayo to carry out this horrible act.”

35-year-old Reverend Paul Horner, founder of ‘Paul Church’, told reporters his congregation is deeply saddened by Hull’s death. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Hull family. She was a wonderful woman, a quiet wife, a mother of three,” Horner said. “But she had sinned that day by working on the Sabbath. She knew what she was doing was wrong, but did it anyway. She knew there could be consequences, and there were.”

Hull’s best friend, 33-year-old Courtney Groves, spoke with local news station WHNT about the incident. “They stoned her to death, and for what? Because she was working on Sunday to help feed her children,” Groves said. “She was pregnant for goodness sakes! Her husband lost his job in April and they’ve been struggling to make ends meet. This church needs to be held accountable for their actions. She was a great friend and we all loved her so much. She will be missed.”

Church spokesman Wayne Ashworth told reporters about the future of the church. “I do not foresee something like this happening again,” Ashworth said. “Hull’s death will not have been in vain. This will set a wonderful precedent for the rest of the members of our fine church. They must learn to follow the Bible’s teaching word for word or face the consequences. As long as they do that they should have nothing to fear.”

45-year-old Mammy Torando, who worked with Hull told CNN she was an amazing person. “At work, Brandy would bring me donuts or a slice of pizza or something like that. I didn’t even care if she was one of those, you know lesbians, the ones who munch on the carpet, it didn’t bother me the least bit. She was helping keep my belly full, or at least kind of full, it never gets completely full,” Torando grins. “I’m overweight, I admit it. I’m the bolder and the beautiful! When I go out in a red dress, the neighbor kids yell out ‘Kool-Aid!’” The stomach of Torando begins to make a rumbling noise, “I know why this is too, it’s because Brandy is gone.” Torando sobs, “Usually around this time of day she would bring me a full size apple pie or a dozen cupcakes, something to hold me over. I miss my little Brandy so much, I miss her just so dang much!”

Rev. Horner spoke with WAFF in Huntsville about the teachings of his church. “We don’t find symbolism or interpret the Bible to fit our personal needs or agenda. We actually read and follow the teachings of the Bible, unlike other churches,” Horner said. “All the other churches out there are lazy. They pick and choose what to like and what not to like based on what the Bible says. It’s easy for them to sin and disobey God on a daily basis. The fact is, these people of other churches find the gay community disgusting and because of a few verses, it’s good enough for them. But anything else in the Bible, oh, they make exceptions for those. These people think they can take the word of God Ol’ Mighty, and change it around or delete it entirely. It’s hypocritical and any real Christian should be sickened by it.”

During services, Rev. Horner can be heard promoting slavery and encouraging his members kill their children. “Psalm 137:9 says happy shall they be who take your little ones and dash them against the rock,” Horner says. “Remember Peter 2:18, which says you who are slaves must accept the authority of your masters with all respect. Do what they tell you–not only if they are kind and reasonable, but even if they are cruel.”

Church goers say they enjoy attending ‘Paul Church’. “Personally, I love it! It keeps me in check, it keeps everyone in line,” Said 30-year-old Darryl Andrew Vanhook. “With ‘Paul Church’, if you do something, anything against the word of God, no matter how big or small, there are consequences. I no longer get rounded haircuts or eat ham sandwiches and seafood, because it says so in the Bible and the ‘Paul Church’ enforces it. Without ‘Paul Church’ I would probably be out committing adultery, cheating on my wife, but I don’t, because I follow the good book and every last wonderful word it has to offer. Plus if I got caught I would probably be murdered by one of the members of the church.”

Detective Kelly told reporters he fears Hull’s death could be the first of many. “This is going to happen again. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when,” Kelly said. “State and Federal lawmakers are currently looking into other complaints about this church, doing what they can to hold lawbreakers responsible for their actions. I’m doing my best to shut this operation down as soon as possible before another tragedy occurs.”

When asked if his teachings will cause legal trouble for members who carry the acts that he endorses, Rev. Horner says it is possible, but worth it. “Legal troubles are nothing compared to the fruits the Kingdom of God has to offer. It’s time to take a stand against those who do not follow the teachings of the Bible. I’m so damn tired of the simple man interpreting the word of Almighty God, it makes me sick! So I say no more! No more picking and choosing, it’s now everything! Word for Word, no interpretations, no exceptions!” Horner continues, “These are all tests from God because he loves us so much. He also doesn’t want the heathens or the homogays of this world to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Those beasts are meant to spend eternity in Hell, or even worse, Double-Hell!”

Hull is survived by her husband Moses Kennedy and her two sisters, Sara Ysmira Keliipaakaua and Pixie Dixon. So far police have not charged Rev. Horner or any member of the church in connection with the death. Mayo is being held at the Huntsville Jail on a $500,000 bond.
