We are certain the Earth is the center. There is some debate about the shape of the Earth. It was clearly flat when God created it, but there are some who think God changed the shape of the earth to allow Columbus to discover America instead of falling of the edge.

If the earth is round it would be daylight all the time because of gravitational lensing. The fact that we have a night proves it is flat. As far as your airplane flight theory goes it is well known that pilots use a map of a flat earth.

Anyway, what does this have to do with us not practicing God's Holy Word as intended?

Do you notice that as objects are further away, they become smaller and smaller? If an object is hundreds of miles away, it's only a little dot. So of course we can't see to the end of the world: it's so far away, it's too small for the resolution of our eye to detect.

No, have you ever been outside? You don't burn to a crisp when you go outside, so the sun is not that hot. Spectrography has shown the surface of the sun to be about 5700 K, hot enough to warm the world from 500 miles, but nowhere near the temperature to wipe out all life.

Are you seriously claiming that if the sun is a hundred million miles from earth it's going to matter whether the light has to travel a few thousand miles more depending on rotation of earth?

Nonsense, the only way such a short distance could have an influence on the color of the sun is if the sun is no more than a few hundred miles away.

And you think that uv light appears red or yellow to your eyes? Here is a hint: uv light is invisible, and the closest visible color is purple.

You can certainly fall of the earth, but it takes a lot of effort, because you have to climb over the "south pole", which is the edge of the world.

And you can go from any country to another because the north pole is at the center of the earth, that's why compasses can point north from any place on earth and it doesn't matter where you come from, if you travel there you'll end up at the same place as anyone else who travels north.



Did you know many airliners even fly over the north pole to shorten their trip?

Could you provide any real evidence to back that assertion up? Here is a picture I just took, I live reasonably high up a hill, far higher than a tower, and from what I see the world is not round at all:
