Yes, Miss Basilissa.
You have good questions. I identify myself as a practitioner of Jainism. I am not, however, practicing religion very actively. I am following ahimsa, vegetarianism and chastity. I do this because I feel they are good for me and my environment. Yes, I am choosing things I think are reasonable and useful. Perhaps I should say it is a way of life and not religion. Yes, my Jainist way of life.
The parasites? I will go to the doctor. If she says take the medicine, I will. I know these organisms will die. I must live with it. Yes.
The insects. I am sorry but your view on them is not the one that is generally accepted. I know that the general information of scientists may be wrong and you must be right but here is a link to some data on the CNS of insects. I am sorry but I trust this information.

The child and the dog? Again, why should the world be restricted to only two alternatives? You can save the child. Why kill the dog? I will tell what I would like to do. I would like to have the courage to go between and offer myself for the dog. Yes. Bite me, if you must, if you are afraid. It is fear that is giving birth to violence, eh? Of course, I do not know if during an actual attack I would have the courage. But I am doing this at school when boys are fighting. Going between. Yes. Hit me if you must hit someone.
That is ahimsa. A practical tool. That is what your Jesus did. He also went between the wrath of God and humans. Take me, not them. Yes. Fascinating, eh? Yes, it is.

So then, you admit to being a lesbian witch. I thought so.

Well, I apologize for not keeping up with the secular science. My point is that insects don't feel pain.
Actually, everything we need to know about insects is in the Bible:
Leviticus 11:21-22
21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
We learn two important things from this passage:
1) It's OK to eat insects (whether they do or don't feel pain, God doesn't care).
2) Locusts, beethes, and grasshoppers have four legs, and no amount of empirical evidence can convince me otherwise.

Yeah, we have something like that in Western civilization. It's called masochism, and it's a deviancy.

No, it's not the same. You need to understand that Jesus who died (temporarily) is the same person as God who sent Him to death, so He did this 3-day sacrifice to fulfill a rule that He himself had designed. It's like a computer game creator, who writes into the program a need for a temporary death for its own character in the game, and then plays the game to fulfill it.
Praise Jesus!

Yes. Miss, Basilissa, you really are kind answering me. Your reply also made me understand another issue about your kind of Christianity. The Bible really is taking precedence always. You can see the world and its wonders (insect legs) but you have a strong devotion and the Bible must come first. I cannot do this, I am too secular, eh? Yes, I am.
I am offending you again but I must ask if offering oneself as a target for violence is masochism? Masochism is pleasure and enjoyment out of pain. I am thinking, pain is pain! Yes. It is not comfortable but it may be necessary.
Last, I am sorry but I want to ask. Your vision of the trinity is very different from the one explained in my education. You are saying that God and Jesus are one person. What Tertullian and your other early philosophers explained was that "The three persons are distinct, yet are one essence or nature". Three persons - one God. Not the same person. I was thinking, this must be one of the cornerstones of all types of Christianity. Yes? Perhaps I was mistaken?

Why would you target yourself for violence if you did not enjoy pain?

We don't interpret the Bible. We read it as as. The Bible says that Jesus, Father, and the Holy Ghost are one person:
1 John 5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
However, when you carefully examine the Scripture, there are seven Ghosts, which means that technically, there are Nine Persons of the Holy Trinity.
I hope that helps to clarify things.
