Paul: GOP Must 'Show Up and Say Something' in Black Communities

I like a guy with ideas, and here’s one who’s right.

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky said Sunday that the Republican Party has to "show up and say something" in black communities in order to win back the trust of a voting bloc that has long been suspicious of the GOP.

"I think there's a huge opportunity for us," he said during an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press" program. "And while not everybody says they're ready to become a Republican, many people say they're glad I'm there and they want us to compete for their vote."

Paul, a likely 2016 presidential contender, said that one step towards that goal is deemphasizing voter ID as a campaign issue, although he said he still supports requiring identification at the polls.

"It doesn't mean that I think it's unreasonable, I just think it's a dumb idea for Republicans to emphasize this and say 'this is how we are going to win the elections," he said.

There is absolutely no point in trying to lessen the Nigra vote (which is all about Demoncrats and Welfare) by talking about voter ID, if the nigras realize this, they’ll see the plan. Fortunately, the average buck has a short attention span and, given something else to think about will soon forget the issue.

Rand Paul has it right: get out there and get them thinking about something else: a job with enough money to buy a pimp-mobile, drugs or a gold-plated firearm with a pearl handle – well, perhaps the ‘job’ is a little exaggerated, but you know what I mean.

I’m sure there’s a few here who could get out on the stump and speak of happy days on the plantation; how nice picanninies are, or what a blessing they have with their sense of rhythm. (There’s someone here with a fried chicken outlet – 10%-off vouchers would be a good move.)

In the unlikely event of any of them looking as if they may be turning to GOP, I suggest that you take details and run then through the usual Landover Security checks. If they pass, make sure they have some voter ID.

If anyone one else has any ideas, I’d be glad to hear them.

Great idea, Brother Ezekiel, to come up with some ideas to get the Negro to vote for Republicans.

I've wondering lately if, perhaps, the Negro votes for Democrats because they have a positive message. Maybe we could have a positive message as well.

For example, the Dem message, "Vote for us, we'll give you free food and welfare money" probably sounds positive.

We Republicans cannot offer them free food or welfare because it is against our principles. So I was wondering how this message would go over. It is, "Vote for Republicans. We will not send you back to Africa."

I would want our PR firms to test market mine of any other message. But, I'm thinking myself Negroes might like my positive message.

What we really need is an ex-Negro who can talk to them in their native jive, explaining that a Republican vote means more KFC franchises, greater watermelon crop production, and plenty of chitlins & greens at the market.

Although the GOP party ideals are what's best for the black segment of the population, the darkies have not always been able to recognize that. I do agree we need to be clearer in what our measures will achieve.

When we say "No more well fare", "No more affirmative action", "No more NAACP", "No more black presidents", "No more racial quotas", it all sounds a bit negative, we have to explain that it is for their own good, that these are positive moves for the black community.

Whenever you see a colored person on a university or with a good job, what do you think? Of course it will be something like "what white person had to suffer so that an undeserving nigra could get his spot?" When we remove affirmative action and quotas, and fire all black people from their current jobs, then from that moment only the blackies who actually deserve a good job will get a good job, people won't think negatively of them anymore, the negroes and negresses will actually get the respect they deserve for what they do and are capable of. Can you imagine that? A black man being worthy of respect on the streets without having to be a gangbanger?

Without the racism embedded in the NAACP, in racial scholarships, in racial quotas for government jobs, without all that there will not be a natural seeking of balance through some minor counterracism from white men who feel discriminated against, but racial relations will go back to the way they were before all those discriminating systems were created.

That is what the Republican Party offers: freedom from the shackles of dependency and victim mentality, respect and self respect for all. An honest job for all who want one. No more institutionalized racism either for or against any race, just people judged on their merits. All with the backing of Jesus.

I hope this explanation will help make them see reason and to stop them from importing ebola in the country. If they keep up with the biological warfare even after we've liberated them from their dependency on food stamps and well fare, and when there is no more reason for the white man to be blamed for their positions, then they can go back to their own country.
