Pope Francis rejects Genesis, accepts modern "science." -
10-28-2014, 01:13 AM
Just when you think the Roman institution cannot depart further from the Bible, it finds ways to do so. Now, His Unholiness says that Genesis is an "allegory."
Godless Englandese "news" source:
Quote:
The Big Bang and evolution ARE real but they were carried out by God, says the Pope as he embraces modern science
The Big Bang, which scientists believe led to the formation of the universe some 13.8billion years ago, was all part of God's plan, Pope Francis has declared.
The Pope said the scientific account of the beginning of the universe and the development of life through evolution are compatible with the Catholic Church's vision of creation.
|
But what about God's version of creation? If evil-utionism and the nothing that somehow exploded and became everything are real, why didn't the Lord say so? The Roman institution relies on that standard non-answer:
Quote:
The Catholic Church no longer teaches creationism - the belief that God created the world in six days - and says that the account in the book of Genesis is an allegory for the way God created the world.
|
Why don't people who use that non-argument ever explain how it's to be read allegorically and, more to the point, how they know? The Bible teaches that belief in a literal Adam is entirely necessary for salvation; for one thing, if Adam is just an allegory, how can the fish heads consistently argue that Christ isn't?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Every time someone asks me why I left the idol worshipping Jesus munchers it's always the same answer. Things like this!
Thank you, brother, for raising awareness of just how far the Catholic cannibal cult has strayed from God's word. For me, one of the last straws was their acceptance that Galileo saw other worlds through his blasphemous telescope. If a firmament was what God tells us the sky is then that is that!
It doesn't surprise me at all that the incense swingers are now playing the metaphor card with the Creation itself. They're just interested in getting parents of innocent young boys into their statue strewn hell buildings after all. I'm amazed they even bother with Jesus.
If it is not the word of God then what is it for, Papists? Where are you getting your information about God from? Do you honestly think that man in a dress has a better connection with God than the God-inspired authors of Scripture itself?
No! It's the Bible or Hell for you. It's not too late to convert to True Christianity.

Actually, this isn't news...Pius XII was the first Pope to do so...
But still, I like Francis-he is trying to help save Christianity from the demonic cult of Churchianity that had scourged it for almost 2,000 years.

The Roman pontiff is the head of the demonic cult of churchianity. How else do you explain how quick the Catholic institution is to amend, rewrite, or just ignore Scripture in defense of its made-up doctrines and warmed-over Graeco-Roman paganism? The example in this thread shows how eager His Unholiness is to exalt his own "wisdom" over God's wisdom.

Mhm...every pope from Peter (see Galatians 2) to Benedict XVI had been head of that cult, but Francis looks to be the one who's gonna change it all.
And sometimes you have to change things from within...

Justify your contention that Galatians 2 proves that Peter was the first pope. Catholics who claim Peter as the first head of their cult don't like to be reminded of verses like this:
Galatians 2:11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

Change can be good or bad. If Francis wanted to change Catholicism into a Biblically sound church, that would be one thing.

Simple...he started out in Antioch, then got to Rome...either way, he strayed SO far from what Jesus has intended him to do when He said "Feed My sheep."

We will see...of course, not everything in the Bible is to be taken literally. (whereas you think that everything is to be taken literally except John 6)

I've been to Florence; does that make me a Medici?

Do you have a decoder ring to tell you which parts of the Bible are to be taken literally and which aren't?

Not this again. We've been through this so many times.
