To the false christians: The Problem of Evil -
12-02-2010, 12:53 PM
A lot of filthy false christians come to this forum and start claiming that we True Christians™ are twisting Scripture and that God is in fact an omnibenevolent being who loves all humans. Not only is this notion in direct violation with the Bible:
Psalm 5:5
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity
Romans 9:13
As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated
It also raises what is called the problem of evil. Because if God was in fact omnibenevolent, omniscient and omnipotent why would He allow natural disasters and accidents to happen? Why would He allow evil to exist? Whenever I bring this to the attention of a filthy false christian he starts mumbling something about a divine plan that we humans can't understand and that this plan is in fact going to ensure the happiness of humans in the long run.
I am sure that a lot of you false christians believe in this as well. You believe that those who are killed in car accidents, floods and during earthquakes are innocent people who serve as pawns in God's divine plan to ensure happiness for all. This idea is utterly stupid and I will now tell you why!
God is omnipotent. If He actually had a plan that aimed to ensure happiness of all people (including sinners ) He could execute it without killing innocent people via natural disasters and accidents.
But since natural disasters and accidents do happen God can't be both omnipotent and omniscient on one side and omnibenevolent on the other. Severeal conclusions can arise from this.
1.) God doesn't exist
2.) God is not omniscient and therefore don't know how to stop evil before it happens
3.) God is not omnipotent and therefore can't stop evil
4.) God is neither omnipotent nor omniscient
5.) God is not omnibenevolent
The correct conclusion is of course number 5. This is supported by Numbers 16:30 which shows two things:
1.) God causes natural disasters
2.) The people who die in natural disasters aren't innocent and deserve to die as punishment for provoking God.
So if you are a false christian then it is time to pick a side. Do you give op the notion that God is omnibenevolent and become a True Christian™ or will you become a filthy atheist scumbag or a Godmocker who claims that God is a puny omnibenevolent being who isn't omnipotent or omniscient?
Remember that your decision dertermines whether you go to Heaven or Hell.
Edit: Additional proof that God isn't omnibenevolent!
To the atheists:
To the false christians:
Feel like pissing off God? Perhaps this will change your mind:
Hosea 13:16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

This silly computerized board parser is just like stupid atheists, it can't read your phrases in context!

I assure that even in righteous context it pains me to write that our Holy Lord doesn't exist.

What an excellent study! I will reference it right away!

I was good with conclusion #1 as I read it, I knew such an assertion could not be other than a false assumption.
I don't think any sane person would dismiss God in the face of the mountains of evidence and The Bible.
And, Yes, Brother Kirkeholm, there is little more annoying that false Christians who have some "magic decoding ring" to make Sodom and Gomorrah appear to be benevolent and proportional. The only thing that episode shows is that the awe and magnificence of God's Wrath is of Biblical proportions.
God does nothing by halves!

AMEN friend! Too often do the gutless, cherry-picking christians out there forget the fact that our Lord is a wrathful Lord, and He rightly enjoys meting out divine punishment to disgusting sinners.
Our Lord makes it very clear in the Good Book that he takes great pleasure in dealing out infinite punishment for finite sins. Indeed, did not Jesus himself, when coming upon a fig tree that committed the evil act of not having any fruit, say:
"Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?" Luke 13:7
Praise Him! Throughout the Bible are so many references to the absolute fear and trembling our Lord should instill in us, how can the wicked cherry-pickers refuse to see this?
"...for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me." Genesis 22:12
"And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not." Exodus 20:20
"Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:for I am the LORD your God." Leviticus 25:17
"Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name." Deuteronomy 6:13
"Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD." Joshua 24:14
"Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you." 1 Samuel 12:24
And that's just barely even scratching the surface of the Old Testament!
Now, cherry-pickers, what kind of omnibenevolent God commands us to fear Him and promises to exact infinite punishment for finite sins?
SHOUT GLORY!
"That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman." 2 Chronicles 15:13

Well said, Mr. Preston!

No, He did not.
That verse is part of a parable, and the dresser asks for one last chance to get the tree to bear fruit, after which the tree will be cut down.
The idea being that Jesus' coming is your last chance to get right with God before being hewn down and cast into the fire.
I think in your zeal to help the false Christians find Jesus, you quoted the wrong Scripture. The story of Jesus' summary execution of the obnoxious and thoughtless fig tree is found in Matthew and in Mark, but not in Luke.
Matthew 21:19 reads: And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
The same story is recalled in Mark 11:13-21.
But thank you for bringing up the story! Yes, if Jesus were omnibenevolent, surely He would have used His omnipotence to cause the fig tree to bear fruit for Him out of season immediately, rather than cursing it so it wither and die by the next day.
Bible boring? Nonsense!

Perhaps my sermon here will shed some additional light on the matter.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

It is arrogant to assume that we, as humans, can understand the divine workings of the Lord. Do you know how he works in the world? He has estasblished a set of unbreakable rules for humans to follow. These rules are called PHYSICS!

We don't understand Physics? Or do you think we need a special group of men to explain us how to understand Physics?

So lets keep up shall we: The question is; bad things like the Japan disaster contradict the false Christian doctrine that God loves everyone. You answer is "we can't understand God's thoughts and He works threw the laws of physics"
The contradictions in you answer are - While we can't understand God, we somehow do know He works threw physics. This will come as a surprise to Secularists.
- While God uses natural forces as His tools somehow God can't control these very same tools of His or anticipate what these tools will do in the future.
You seem to have a variation on the "can God create a rock He can't move?" question. Your case it's "can God be so ineffable even He doesn't understand what He is up to?"

Hello, and welcome to God's Favorite Forum!
Please, introduce yourself here in the aptly named introduction forum. Let us know what church you attend, how you came to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and your favorite 1611 King James Bible verse; you know, the important stuff!
I'm not a Bible scholar, but even I can help you find your way to the narrow gate to Heaven. First, you have to stop being Catholic! They are filthy monsters and are all going to Hell, Praise God! After that read your 1611 King James Bible and do what it says; when in doubt, ask a True Christian Pastor what to do!
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.~Joel 1:12

First of all, its through, not threw, and secondly you are misunderstanding me. God could affect nature if He wanted to, but he chooses not to because doing so would undermine human understanding of nature.
Also, we can't understand God's thoughts as they are, so He gave us a set of rules that we CAN understand, in order to grow closer to Him. You can think of it this way:
Exodus 33:20 (King James Version)
20And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
But people looked at Jesus' face and were still alive. He made Himself more accessible.
Lastly, I find it funny that I have received an infraction. You are allowed to mock and slander my religion when I am not around (which, I remind you, is gossip), but I cannot calmly and logically debate yours with you? Don't say that you don't walk into my church and criticise me, because I wouldn't mind as long as you were civil.
Romans 1:29
29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips

You know this, how? As I said before, this contradicts your initial statement that we can't understand God.
Anyway, so what? You're argument is typical Catholic weasel words trying to get away with the basic issue here; God is all knowing. God created the world. These two FACTS means God perfectly well knows that 9.0 and tsunami was going to happen in Japan and kill 18,000+ plus people. The only logical conclusion is God wanted these people killed.
Why don't you try for once in your life showing some moral courage and deal with that concept?
