I believe that when my body, which provides me my consciousness, dies, so does my consciousness, or the "holy and eternal soul" as you call it. We have a beginning, don't we, our birth. According to science, everything with a beginning has an end. Therefore we are in no way eternal.
Oh, and I have nothing agains God or Jesus, I just hate his fan-club.

OK, so you're running on personal opinion. What you call "science" is just stuff you choose to believe. You could "choose to believe" that a circle is square for example, or that a Möbius strip has 14 sides.
The problem then becomes that whereas scientists publish whatever their current position happens to be so that we can look it up if we wish, your material is unpublished whimsy. Euclidean geometry for example attempts to establish a logical framework for definitions of things like triangles or rays or lines. One of these has a beginning but no end. Can you guess which one?
Remember that you can't look anything up or employ axioms because when you do "science" you operate according to honest personal opinions which you choose to believe.
God describes your situation rather well:
Psalm 14:1-4a The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? KJV
That is because God made the world and everything in it. He knows everything about it. Sort of like if I made you a tea cosy. I'd collect some wool, card it, spin it using a Z twist, ply it using an S twist, wash it using a mix of methylated spirits and eucalyptus oil and maybe a little sandalwood soap.
These 2 designs would be done with a crochet hook, one of them uses undyed wool. I'd know which one because I'd have made them.
There would be no detail I could not explain to you.
God knows everything there is to know about the world in just the same way. Because he made it. Every beetle's knee. Every cyanide molecule. Every arsenic atom. He made the stars also. This thread is about the oil God made. He made it perfect. There was no death when God made oil.
Until one day catastrophe struck. Noble Adam listened to the wretch Eve, his wife. God's perfect universe was blasted in that instant, a cascade of evil staining every future soul, polluting each and every star, warping even molecular bonds into weird non-Euclidean orbit manifolds enabling the production of LSD, crack cocaine, methylenedioxymethamphetamine sulphates and bizarre atonalist pitch classes no sane person could ever dream of.
GOD EXPLAINS Genesis 3:17-18 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; KJV
I never intrude "opinion" or "comment" but am happy to post Scripture which really speaks for itself. For example, in the above passage God describes how the ground was cursed, not just humans. Animals began ripping each other up live previously having all been vegetarians and sure enough God will be destroying the whole kaboodle and doing perfection anew. He says so here:
Revelation 20:11 – 21:5a [John writes] I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. KJV
What could be clearer than that? But with neither science nor God's Inerrant Word, opinion is all you have left.

Oh dear, you are really determined to make yourself look like a retard.
Besides, it is obvious that heathens like you are full of hatred for everything. Your persecution is really only a blessing for us. Jesus said people like you would hate Christians because we follow Him.
Matthew 5:10-11 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. I thank you for your effort in proving the truth in His everlasting words

The end of the Fossil Fuel era is upon us so what are we going to do next-?
Dividing annual consumption into total reserves gives us 44.9 years of oil supply at the current consumption rate.
That was eleven (11)years ago, we are not changing your habits and this spells doom for us all.
Do you have any suggestions--?

Don't be silly. The LORD will provide the oil we need. Someone will discover oil somewhere in their back yard in, oh I don't know, Iowa or something. Then the fear-mongers will be shocked while those of us who walk in faith will smile serenely, for we know in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). As True Christians™ do so love Him (John 14:15), as we have been called according to His purpos (Romans 8:29-30), God works for our good.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I cleaned up all the dribble that was pointless and not relevant to the conversation. Let me answer you simply; the only thing that spells doom for us is not accepting the love if Jesus Christ and accept ALL of his commands. Matthew 11: 20-24 "Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not"
THAT my friend is how you spell Doom!! Shout Glory!!!
Revelation 19:15-16 "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords."

This is so true, Brother Thomas! The only doom awaits the unrepentant heathens (e.g., Revelation 20:15). True Believers have nothing to worry about, because God is our Shepherd (Psalm 23:1-6).
Every morning when I go for a ride in my Hummer, I just smile thinking about all these worried eco-terrorists. If Jesus wanted us to worry about fossil fuels, He wouldn't have said this:
Matthew 6:26-30
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

I believe we were visited by “others” just as we visited our moon.
In a five-hundred years, (500) years we will be colonizing Mars.
In 2000 years we will be traveling afar just as we were visited, seeded earth from very, very far away.
That is where the hydrocarbons came from, A seed from afar

Given that neither you or any of us will live for 500 years, this prediction is as valid as, "I believe that in 500 years the Moon will be all painted pink."

Over forty years ago, on the eve of my seminary training, the godless scientists were predicting that all the oil would be gone in forty years. Forty years later, we have more oil than ever before and the Lord has provided more right here in Texas and also the United States.
God provides the oil as He provides the rain.
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

Please make a thread of your own in the " Introductions" section of the forum, so that we can properly greet you. Tell us about yourself, your church, and how you came to find Jesus.
And if you're here to flame us, better take a look at THIS before making an even bigger ass out of yourself.
I will pray that the Holy Spirit enter you and chase the demons out of your rectum and let Jesus fill you with His Grace. If you use your God-given free will to reject Christ and His temporary death on the cross for my sins, then you are sending yourself to hellfire.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)
