God created everything, both the good and the bad parts. Many people conveniently skip parts of the Bible and somehow convince themselves God is a really nice guy who will forgive everyone no matter what they do. This is not how it works. If you read the entire Bible you will see that there is also a lot of suffering, especially here on Earth. It is something we have to bear with grace
to be allowed into Heaven.
