Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Perhaps when you reply you could include the Scripture for Christ's promise to get rid of all wicked people including any dates. Welcome to the forum.

I (Sadly) do not actually go to any churches. I can't really choose a favorite Bible verse, and I came to find Jesus when my Aunt told me about Jesus and the Bible.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. -Genesis 1:3
But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” -Matthew 14:27

I'm sorry to bother anybody, but I am unable to post a new thread. Why exactly is this?

I would also like to ask why I am on the fast bus to Eternal Damnation, and how I can redeem myself.

I guess Pastor Billy-Reuben needs to change the title of his " **"Noobs" please read this before posting.** SERIOUSLY!" thread to something a little less cryptic.

Welcome. The best way to be redeemed is to pray constantly (Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17), read the KJV Bible from start to finish without stopping for God's Word is perfect ("All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Timothy 3:16) and repent of your sinful ways!

I'll keep you in my prayers. If you don't want to burn in the pits of hell, you better take my advice. Also, if you are a woman, you better give birth and raise some soldier's for Christ's Army. That's the last thing I have to do, and my loving fiance Mark is going to let me give birth to at least one son in a year, after we get married.

Genesis is a great book. I can also recomment Revelation in which we learn how many people Jesus will need to kill because they did not accept His Love or thought about accepting It but decided to express their anazement at His wonder and glory in some original or otherwise non-prescribed manner. Many of them will be babies but that's OK because they deserve to die (obviously) otherwise Jesus would not be killing them.
Sometimes people say that is not what Revelation means, but its definition of terms in chapter 1 and throughout are particularly clear and frequently reiterated. In the linked passage for example, Jesus is explicitly identified at the beginning of chapter 6.
The total exterminated will be ¼ + of humanity with assorted others receiving special treatment and that is why there are still sinners prancing around. They will not be prancing for much longer.
Praise Him! . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . context

Alright... I don't want to question God, but why exactly did he flood all of the planet?

Genesis 6:4-7
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
You see, it's all explained in the Bible. If I were you, I'd be more respectful towards an omnipotent being who can destroy mankind at will.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

it's explained but was partially mistranslated in English so it can be confusing... Takes a Strong's concordance to figure this one out
Gen 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began** men to call upon the name of the LORD.
It's actually not "began" but "destroyed" or "blasphemed"
** châlal - properly to bore, that is, (by implication) to wound, to dissolve; figuratively to profane

It also can mean "to play the pipe or flute", BUT no Bible in English has it translated that way or either of the ways you suggest. Why do you suppose that is?

You must mean this:
וּלְשֵׁ֤ת גַּם־הוּא֙ יֻלַּד־בֵּ֔ן וַיִּקְרָ֥א אֶת־שְׁמֹ֖ו אֱנֹ֑ושׁ אָ֣ז הוּחַ֔ל לִקְרֹ֖א בְּשֵׁ֥ם יְהוָֽה׃
As you can see, your vocalization châlal is erroneous. It should be hûchal, thus, actually, even the consonants are incorrect, although the stem is h-l-l. Furthermore, it is not the qal form but actually hophal that has usually a causative meaning. "Then it was begun that men called..." = began to call.
Now, where was the problem?
Yours in Christ,
Elmer
