Trayvon Martin was a 6 foot 2 inch man. I highly doubt George Zimmerman was the instigator in any physical confrontation with him. Last I checked following someone, regardless of how bad the idea, is not a crime and does not excuse Martin's assault. Eyewitnesses testimony claims Martin was on top of Zimmerman punching him while the older man screamed for help.
If it was a shoot first and ask questions later scenario, Zimmerman and Martin would never have ended up in a tussle. Zimmerman did not fear a reaction from a negro. He was in the midst of one.
