He gave you the Gift of Free Will ® upon your birth. You do not have to beleive in Him or follow His rules. But you do have to accept the consequences for your actions and choices.
Consider this:
You're dead
Whether due to your own disgusting sinning or the Lords divine will, you are dead. Instantly your soul begin falling towards the black abyss above Hell. The falling seems eternal as you gather speed and the heat begins to grow. Then you notice a red dot below you growing larger by the second, this is the Lake in the center of Hell. It is the brightest point in Hell therefore it is visible for a great distance. Keep in mind that the farther you fall, the further from Christ you are.
As you gain speed and the flames become apparent you may wonder how you can stop this from happening. The answer is simple. It's too late and you can't, you're doomed. Your soul is damned and it WILL happen. The temperature is now approaching the unbearable limit as your flesh begins to smoulder and ignite and you continue to build speed as you plummet toward the now visible boiling Lake of Fire. You can almost make out individual souls thrashing in the magma with your flaming eyesockets. Soon you will join them, your terror mounts as your screams become gargled with the stench of Hells evil smell. The heat becomes excruciating as you notice your skin peeling away and your bones becoming visible and black. Flaming and screaming in anguish, you splashdown into the acidic brimstone of Satans Lake at around 250 MPH. You are instantly vaporized and reformed as a tormented soul writhing in absolute terror in the deafening depths of the Lake that Burns Eternal. The pain is beyond comprehension as you gnash your teeth so hard they shatter in your mouth. Satan periodically plucks you from the flames to savagely rape repeatedly and casually tosses you to his infernal minions to rip apart and rape at will, only to be reformed and have this scenario repeated...over and over and over, forever.
Is it still funny mocking our mission to Save your soul? We want you to enjoy Heaven and eternal praise and worship at the feet of our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.
Unless you are Saved™ by Jesus Christ and His Holy website and favorite church, Landover Baptist, there is no other way to avoid this.
|
Nowhere do I mock you or your practices, yet you still want me to suffer eternally.
BTW I'm not going to Hell, I'm going to replace my weak physical presence for that of a robot and become immortal. If your god tries to destroy the Earth because of it, I'll just planet-hop.

If it hadn't been the apple, he would have found something else. If there is something like a god and he wants to send you to hell for eternity, he will find a way, no matter what you do.
Try and leed a good life here on earth, try to be a decent person, and don't do stuff just because some old book tells you when you don't follow its rules, you will end up in hell. That's what modern atheism looks like, believe it or not.

Sorry friend, but it is a fools bet to think a mere person knows better than
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Friend, you have it all wrong (like all atheists do). I want to Save© you. I am merely warning you what is going to happen if you disregard my soft and gentle pleas. Re-read what I painstakingly wrote for you.

HA! Soft and gentle pleas! You told me that I would fall into a lake of fire and acid, be vaporized on impact, reformed, dragged out by Satan, tortured and raped, then sent to his minions so they can torture and rape me. A soft and gentle plea would go as follows:
Dear Friend, why have you turned away? God loves you, and he wants you back! He doesn't want you to be dragged away by Satan. Please, turn back to the light.

Friend, I am sorry if plain spoken honesty scares you. I suspect you are one of those people whose parents told them they were 'special' and that life would be all candy canes and ponies.
Also, by the time you see a glimer of light (for you, it will be getting fainter and fainter as you fall into the acrid flames of Hell) it will be too lake. Sorry.

Tell me friend, how can people, who deny the existence of their heavenly father, be a 'good people'?
I care about EVERYONE. I do not force preconceived notions on anyone. I care about what happens to people. Do you or do you not conditionalize everything?

I have a hard time believing Atheists, let alone True Christians™ are gooder than Jesus. And Jesus isn't even as good as God.

Please Jon - only quote from the King James version of the Bible. You are in danger of eternal damnation quoting from false Bibles.
Galatians 1:7-9
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Yes, thank you Brother John for rebuking my error. My soul has certainly been saved from death (again). Letting you know your much needed role, as the good book commands.
"Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." James 5:19-20
Ezekiel 23:19-20 "Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

Being an atheist is not that much different than being a Christian, Muslim, Agnostic, or Jew.
You, as an individual, have morals, goals, dreams, and beliefs. These differ from not from one belief to the next, but on an individual basis. Morality is shaped and changed only by environment and peers, notably in the beliefs taught to said individual. Many 'Atheists' are either previous members of a religion who were persecuted for being different, taught to be atheist, or, most commonly, chose to be one (just like with most religions-including Christianity) with the free will that nearly all humans possess (those who do not have free will tend to be brain-dead). The cruel persecuting of the autistic by members of religious communities ( also including Christianity) also leads to more and more people becoming atheist. (And before any of you start spamming me with RTFM, I chose not to because I will cancel this account soon. All that stuff they said about this place being the world's friendliest forum... It seems to be a lie. If it truly were, then people would accept each other regardless of belief, sexual orientation, gender, race, any physical or mental disabilities, ect.)

Well now I know you're lying!
Being True Christian™ isn't anything like worshiping a false moon-god who tells women to dress in garbage bags, or anything like a stingy, back-stabbing jew. I'll let you do a little etymology research into what "agnostic" and "atheist" mean (hint, "a" is the Greek prefix for "not" or "lack of;" "theos" is Greek for God, and "gnosis" does not mean "on a spectrum somewhere because I don't have the courage to stop lying to myself and pretend there's a loophole just in case I'm wrong").

That doesn't make any sense. Look, if someone is moral and decent and good, it is clearly because the LORD is working through them (1st John 1:7). True Christians™ are living temples of the LORD (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and as such, are incapable of NOT being moral and decent and good. This much is elementary, for the Holy Bible tells us it alone is the source of morality because only the Bible is the very Word of God in written form (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21). If a person wants to know God’s will, he turns to the Bible. If a person wants to discern right from wrong, he turns to the Bible.
Without it, we are like ships adrift at sea. At the end of the Sermon on the Mount, our Lord said these words:
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Matthew 7:24-25
The Word of God, the Bible, is the only rock upon which to build morality. This defeats your argument, and I implore you to seek your heart and learn more.
Of course the Holy Spirit can, and sometimes does, move through a nonbeliever, just as He can, and sometimes does, move through inanimate elements such as wind, or water, to elicit a desired outcome.
One who does not accept the Truth of the Holy LORD and His Righteousness, cannot therefore accept the concept of free will. An evolutionist will no doubt refer to the godless scientists that try and fool people into believing the brain responds to stimuli prior to an individual's awareness. In other words, atheists believe that we do not choose to act freely, we act according to some scientific web of strings that has been in existence for a gazillion years, and simply justify our behavior when it conforms to the desires we would like to see played out. I'm surprised you haven't fallen for that claptrap spewed out by one of your New Atheist High Priests.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! Being an atheist is just like a normal person who doensnt beleive that they have do all sorts of holy things or they will be forever burned in hell.
And just because we dont think there is a god doesnt mean we are bad people it just means that when we do something good it is because we want to not because their is some all powerful person in the sky judging our every move and will send us to hell for being mean

I'm sorry to say that I'm on the fence between Christianity and atheism and I just want some guidance. I joined this community in search of knowledge only to find racism in many posts as well as ignorance. I've seen posts that said "we're right and you're wrong" as well as posts that want to help atheists become Christians. We all want to be more like God, do we not? Since he is the perfect example for how we should live. I also have to say that though I am leaning more towards being a Christian at the moment, after reading a lot of posts here on this forum, I'm once again beginning to question Christianity. There are many things I question, so I hope there is someone who can explain why Christianity is better.

Hello friend,
I hope I can provide the unbalanced force which removes you from your precarious equilibrium, sending you joyfully toppling head over heels to the correct side of the fence.
We here at Landover Baptist Church do not condone racism and/or ignorance. You will see neither of these from a True Christian™, but the many Christ-haters who come here do litter our sacred forums with such refuse.
The True Christians™ here are always right, because we back up our statements with the Holy Word of God (KJV1611). God is always right, and when we back our statements with His Word, then we are right by association.
As far as which is better, being a True Christian™ or a God-hating heathen, I put forth to you the question:
Is is better to live forever in paradise with God, or to burn mercilessly forever, separated from God's love?
I Kings 7:23
And he made a moulten Sea, ten cubites from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, & his height was fiue cubits: and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it round about.
New here? Desiring to be pleasing in the eyes of The Lord and His Followers?
Then do as directed by our esteemed Pastors and head on over to the Introductions subforum and make your first post there, friend. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus. Anything else you want to share with us about how Jesus has blessed you is welcomed too.
Are you a hater of God that believes He is a morally bankrupt monster? Read Why, you ask, is God so angry? to see that it is in fact you that is the monster that mercilessly and infinitely torments God.
