Yes, it's the Reeperbahn, and the other street is the Große Freiheit. But don't worry about all that. I've known these areas since the time of my youth, as I was grewing up there and went to school at the Kleine Freiheit, a street next to the place shown on the sign but on the verge of all that evil.
Thus, of course, I certainly would agree the Reeperbahn is a place full of wickedness. No doubt about it.

Hello James.
You are likely aware that the Germans are forever throwing monkey wrenches into otherwise well-oiled machines like the Catholic Church. If you are truly looking to find the path to salvation through Jesus I can assure you that there is no better way travel that path than being hand in hand with His Church and it's humble servants irrespective of what that silly Martin Luther was up to.
(While you contemplate the obvious truth to my entreatments, I might ask you why the people of Hamburg consider Currywurst their favorite dish?
German cuisine is oxymormonic in the same fashion of Baptist beauty pageant, but surely after all of the times you have invaded France something about fine food must have made it's way into your national appreciation for something other than boiled cabbage and ketchup on sausages?)
I suggest you avoid the Mormon Church like it was the Russian front January of '42 and while you are at it you would be wise to leave this place before you end up like the other cult members here who consider Sarah Palin an intellectual instead of a brain-damaged grifter.
Hop on that Ice Train to Köln, depart the station and take a good long look at what it means to be a Catholic! You won't find a high-speed train in Iowa let alone a Cathedral like that!
Bless you, my possible relative of Benedict,
Father Mo
.
A Cardinal in the making.

Yea, and the faster the ICE train leaves that place and leaves that bloody cathedral behind, which is nothing but the embodyment of the claim to power of a fallen church, the better it is. By the way, I would prefer Iowa a thousand times more than Cologne.
PS Yes, Mister Lester, we like Currywurst, and Bratwurst, and Döner, and Hamburgers, and Big Macs, and fried chicken, and pommes frites (French fries), and Schweinehaxe, and all that. The French like frogs and snails and similar delicatessen. And what is your favorite meal? Let me guess... dry bread and water...?
... Or should I guess wine and beefsteaks? Bless you!

It's true, I've never been there in Iowa, but I've seen some images from Iowa and I like the landscape, the farms, and all that peaceful impressions. The "Heartland" of America... bordered by the Missisippi and the Missouri. Your country is blessed by all these beautyful things, and you don't see?

But this is so wonderful:
So forget the fools' tractor parade. See only this picture. And you might guess why it's called God's own country and why I whished to be there only for a moment of eternity by a twinkling of my eyes. Yes, I'm a romantic. God bless America.

Agreed. The same goes for that German gibberish, too.

I agree again. There is nothing more beautiful than the sight of miles and miles of over-fertilized genetically modified crops.

Whenever the missionaries came for visiting and teaching me, I sent my girl friend into the kitchen, while I was sitting in the living room comfortably talking with them about the Lord's revelations and other important questions and reading together in the Book of Mormon.
My girl friend only attended the meetings by serving some snacks and a Cola for the missionaries and me. No chance for the missis to get into closer relation with my girl friend. I might be stupid, but I'm not silly, ye know?

It's solely thanks to them for bringing one like me back to faith.

A show's portrayal being spot on is the same as its corresponding to the truth. In this case, that says nothing about the veracity of Joseph Smith's claims.
For that we need to turn to history. Now sure, we know there was someone called Joseph Smith and that he produced a crock of garbage labelled as a religious belief syttem. That's historical fact. But the lies he told are just that. Lies. One way to demonstrate that would be by a molecular DNA analysis comparing Amerindians with Israelites. Have you done such an analysis?
I will include this brief introduction which although presented in a lighthearted graphics format is historically accurate.
The fact that a deceitful and libidinous wretch can be shown to have existed and to have operated a gargantuan extortion racket with Brigham Young during the 19th century in no way confirms that there were any magic apparitions or fancy gold plates. Before hieroglyphics were mastered by Egyptologists, Smith was inspired by demons to offer a "translation" in which he was quite safe because no-one could check his effort. Now we can. Therefore whatever method he used was charlatanism at best and indeed we see the demonic element (there is no other agency at work in mormonism) when the deluded fools who follow this monstrous cult persist in believing Smith has magic powers despite his faux translation having been well and truly exposed. Satan is all you'll find in their m oronic temples.
The Pastors will be able to arrange for you to set up a tithing plan in the most tax-efficient way for your area. You will then be helping Jesus to minister directly, targeted where there is real need and not wasted on over-ornate "cathedrals" or über-gauche gold statues of devils masquerading as trumpet pumpers.
I hope that is helpful.

Okay - to be honest, and as half a Mormon and half a good man I should never lie, the missionaries haven't visited me for ages and left Hamburg in January this year. Since then I must wash the dishes and switch on the washing machine by myself. Does this answer your question a little?
Something went wrong... but I'm sure to find good advise here in these wonderful and divinely inspired forums.

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

No analysis necessary. American Indians don't descend from the Israelites. I know that.

Yes, the Book of Abraham might be one of those scriptures or documents of which the Mormons even themselves in my opinion wished it had never been written or published. Unfortunately it has. For many Mormons Joseph Smith is a fallen prophet, and don't forget there are approx. 70 denominations belonging to the Mormon movement in the US, not only the LDS, and for example the Community of Christ (CofChrist) , the second largest community of Mormon movement, regard the BoM only as an inspired document revealing the wealth of the Gospel.

The golden "trumpet pumper" shows mormoni, the angel who visited Joseph Smith (in his "Second Vision") and told him about the Golden Plates. If he really was a devil he certainly would have kept the G o l d e n Plates and made a beautiful time to himself instead of leading young Joseph to the place where they were hidden!

Still one extra letter there?
Seriously, the "preview post" function is there for a reason. Try it out and be saved from these awkward moments . I use it all the time.
Try Job 19:4.
