The Book, "To Train Up a Child", Available Free at City Hall. -
01-30-2014, 03:48 PM
When I read that a bunch of liberal panty-wastes were trying to ban the wonderful book, To Train Up a Child, from internet sales, I decided enough is enough. I bought a shrink wrapped pallet and had them deliverd to Freehold City Hall.
This book is about how to raise a Christian child. It advocates hitting them if they misbehave. What could be wrong with that?
Children need to know when parents hit them, the pain they feel is the love of Jesus going right into them.
I won't discuss more about the book, I want every parent in Freehold to have a copy compliments of your City Government. Pick up yours today.

Your Honor, you are a godly and generous man. I hope to one day be able to move to your humble, loving town and join in fellowship with you.
As far as book bannings go: what next? Books about installing wood flooring? Shop manuals for vintage Jeeps?
WHEN WILL IT END???

These LIEberals don't want to train up a child. They just want to let them run wild and do what they want to do because telling them no might hurt their feelings. Well let me get ahold of some unruly children! I'll hurt their bottoms to the point that they won't even think about their feelings any more.

This petition coming from change.org is no surprise - no doubt an organization promoting community activists Obama / Big Government / New World Order that is trying to bully the rest of us into doing what they want us to do.
The book sounds very Biblical and peaceful to me, just like Jesus giving us all free will. Sure, the Lake of Fire is still there as an option, but we don't have to choose that path by just obeying Jesus.
Quote:
…
According to its Amazon description, the book "is not about discipline, nor problem children" but instead states that the bulk of it is directed on the "training of a child before the need to discipline arises."
The book also promises that its techniques are so effective that "you will have a renewed vision for your family, no more raised voices, no contention, no bad attitudes, fewer spankings, a cheerful atmosphere in the home and total obedience from your children."
In 2012, Pearl defended his book to The Christian Post and said it was a warning [to] parents to not spank too hard."
"Spanking is only an option that we have, that we seldom use, but having that option gives authority to our words," he added. "Having that option means that if we have a rebellious child, or if we have a child that's otherwise compliant but one day has a rebellious streak that child, knowing that we have an option to spank, gives authority to our words, and helps us to communicate our will to the child and to receive compliance."

Mrs. Seven--I box of six copies went into the mail today compliments of your Mayor.
With seven children, I am sure you know well the physical "techniques" for bringing each loved child into obedience. God bless you for all you do.

Thank you I have it well and truly sorted out, but so many other mothers ask me when I'm at the supermarket why my children quietly accompany me around the aisles without running or shrieking or asking for anything, while their children regard the supermarket as a playground and demand their mother purchase certain items and throw temper tantrums for all to see. My children see these other children as demons. It's for these mothers that I need these books.

That reminds of a sad story I read a few years ago. Some liberal parents became suspicious when they saw how their child was actually well behaved around their nanny, so instead of asking for parenting tips they hung up camera's and had their nanny prosecuted for hitting the kid. Suspicious for seeing a well behaved child! Unimaginable to any good parent, but normal for liberals.

Leviticus 26:15-16
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Those are interesting experiences you have a the super market, Sister Seven.
Seeing children who do not behave in the super market has made me think we should hand Mothers rubber hoses for use on children along with the "To Train Up..." book.
We could tell the mothers of these brats, "Here is a rubber hose and a book of intructions on how to use it."
