Rev Jim Osborne is a great role model for the young Christian males. Thanks for pointing that out Indifferent.
But why don't you pop over to the Introduction threads and tell us a bit about you?
2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land Australia.

Be honest, you never read a Bible, you never even touched one! Stop believing only the fluffy bunny parts of the Bible and start reading the entire Bible!
Why we must judge you to save your soul:
- Leviticus 19:15 "In righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour."
- John 7:24 "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
- 2nd Timothy 4:1-2 "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine."
People God hates:
- Proverbs 6:16-19 "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."
- Deuteronomy 12:31 "You must not worship the LORD your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the LORD hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods."
God kills those who do not believe in Him and then sends them to hell:
- 2nd Chronicles 15:13 "That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman."
- Mark 16:16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
- Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
- John 15:6 "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned."

Obviously, the Romans put on Him a purple robe that was stained scarlet by His Holy Precious Blood! Just imagine it - He was pouring out his Blood (to cover YOUR filthy sins, mind you!) and there was so much of it that the ENTIRE ROBE was stained from purple to scarlet!

Sorry for the double post but God does not hate the people, but the sin. You take so many verses out of context.
As in reference to calling the person who asked the question all these names, if he doubts the bible why not try to build up his faith in it instead of calling him all sorts of foul names. Answer his question. Frankly, I have a lot of questions about the bible.

Don't give me any "He hates the sin, not the sinner" crap...
Quote:
Matthew 13
[38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
[39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
[40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
[41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

If what you say is true, why would God even need hell?

Woah...wait just a minute there.
Have you read the book of Malachi?
Malachi 1:1-3 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel bya Malachi. I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
I'm not sure if you want God to be any more specific than that about his hatred towards filthy sinners. He hates a lot of people - Esau just happened to be one of them.

Amen! To add to what you posted there the New Testament reference as well.
Romans 9:13 A s it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

He seems to have the colors confused of the robe Jesus (piss be upon him) wore:
Matthew 27:28
28And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.
John 19:2
2And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe
Just so we are clear, THIS is scarlet and THIS is purple.
Well? Can anyone answer this?
|
Not that anyone has to answer to unsaved trash, but you not-so-cleverly highlighted RED and INDIGO in your text, not scarlet and purple.
Men only see primary colors.
There are seven colors defining wavelengths of visible light. They are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. However, the three "primary colors" for ADDITIVE combination (such as the colors on these web pages) are red, blue and green. Maybe it looked scarlet at 2PM and deeppink or magenta in the light at 4PM. Who cares?
Men do not see puce, teal, and a whole lot of others. Only women and homers get all worked up about color gradations like goldenrod versus sienna and watermelon and the difference between scarlet and purple. Is this really keeping you from finding the LORD?
Leviticus 13:44 He is a leprous man, he is UNCLEAN: the priest shall pronounce him utterly UNCLEAN; his plague is in his head.
2 Kings 6:25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver.

Of course Adam and Eve were the first people created by God. They had many children, both sons and daughters. (only Cain, Abel and Seth are mentioned by name as they are far more significant than the others). There were however, also people of Ur again not named by name, but they were also God's creations. There were also many groups of peoples, for example: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,
the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites, none of them offspring of Adam and Eve, so therefore inbreeding is not necessarily the case.
I suggest you read all of Genesis prior to coming in here with asinine questions and comments.

There are many safeguards built into the Bible. I think this is one of those.
As already mentioned here, only fags and women care about color subtleties such as you bring up. The difference you point out is proof that these Gospel writers were neither. What's more important... proof that the New Testament was not written down by homosexuals? or distinguishing between a couple colors that look the same to me anyway?

And purple is, as we all know, the preferred colour of bulldaggers who play softball and/or soccer. Their team uniforms are testament to this.
However, the bright-red scarlet colour of Christ's blood was, by miracle of His Godliness, completely heterosexual. Glory!
|
NO,NO,NO,NO,NO.
Jesus is the King of Kings, and one thing I know about kings, is they have blue blood!
Pray on it, purple is the colour of the true king - the most expensive dye colour available. Through faith we can see, that the robe first used was pink, used by the gay Romans, and the royal and godly blood of Jesus, The bluest of blue, stained it purple, showing the rare gift he gave to the world, and showing how precious he was.
It also proves the blood of Jesus, can DESTROY the pink in someone. This proves the substantiation claims of those idolatrous Catholics false, because if their claims on transubstantiation had any truth, the sacrament would cure the ills of homosexuality. And the buggery of boys by the priesthood, attests to that claims fail.
Though, given the infinite awesomeness of Jesus, he may have both red and blue blood - red to show his choice to come as a lowly human, to show us his understanding of our plight, and blue to show his royalty. When spilt, it became purple to show how precious his blood was, spilt to redeem the snivelling cretinous human race we are, unless we are saved, and washed pure by his blood!
And for those "atheistic" bulldaggers, they use purple to mock our lords most precious gift. By their very actions, it proves they know Jesus is the way and the truth, but reject him, because thy hate all men, including Jesus. So this proves their are no atheists!
