Wouldn't you rather enjoy millions of years of pure happiness in exchange for a couple decades of misery on the earthly disc?
I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen
Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

Why? Evil is inherently self destructive. You are talking about someone, like and Atheist, who chooses to go against God. Even Atheists know God is all powerful (though they don't admit it) Only somone out to hurt themselves would do that.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

You're making the assumption that the thought processes of an atheist work as though the atheist were a rational being. The point is, he is not. He lets some unstable, radioactive atoms tell him how old the earth is, instead of The God Of The Bible. How rational is that? How could an atom know how old the earth is? It's just a piece of matter. Likewise, he thinks the universe came from a tiny dot, while God states very clearly that it was Him who created the universe. Ever seen a tiny dot creating a universe? How would the dot know where to put the stars and the planets? It's just a dot, for God's sake!
Atheists commit sin because they are either demons themselves, or they are being possessed by demons.
Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
Praised be Your Glorious Name™.
Amen.

Atoms don't know how old the earth is. Instead they guess at how old the earth is based on the age of the oldest atom.
How would a dot know where to put the stars and planets? It doesn't matter. Anyplace you put them would be "correct".

But how do they know the age of the atom? Only God knows that!

No, it wouldn't, as a slight displacement would send the planets and stars crashing into one another. We see a very delicate balance in our universe. It is preposterous to assert that a tiny dot would know how to do this.

By "they" I mean people who use isotope dating to estimate the age of the earth, and not the atoms themselves. The antecedent in that sentence is missing.

I'm not sure why this even matters. Let us say for argument that a tiny dot placed uncountable number of planets and stars in random locations and billions of them crashed into each other getting destroyed. Then what exists now would be all the ones that by chance were tossed into the "delicately" balanced positions.

The tiny dot would also have to know how to make gravity to make such a balance even possible (gravity is a lie, of course, but the atheists need it for their cosmological theories). How would the dot know that?

It wouldn't. If I have a drawer full of red socks and black socks all mixed together and someone blindfolds me and asks me to pick out two socks of the same color the most amount of socks I need to grab is three. I don't need to know anything about the total number of socks, the relative densities, how one feels over the other or any other technical information.
Similarly, a dot capable of putting stars and planets wherever it pleases needs no knowledge of anything. With an infinite number of stars and planets some are going to end up ok. If intelligent beings are then created afterwards to live on those planets, they would have no way of knowing what happened unless the dot commissioned the writing of a book telling them.

My friend, aren't you listening? According to atheist theories, gravity is necessary, otherwise planets wouldn't form! They claim that the dot made gravity after an insanely short span of time after it exploded (which is rather ironic, considering their fetish for absurdly long timespans). A dot isn't going to think: "hey, I've got an idea, let's make gravity!"

But you forget that atheism is a religion, just like catholicism or mohammedism. They may not call them saints, but Marx, Darwin and Dawkins play the same role.

Not quite. By believing, he loses the option of committing all sorts of sin. So his wager would be between sinning on earth (having lots of fun while alive) and being punished for eternity vs not sinning on earth and being in heaven for eternity. Then since it is a wager, you must weight those two events by probabilities you assign for them being true and value you give to the before/after death events.

Not sure what you said but I think you agreed with me.

Well this is a circular argument because the only way it works is by expressing without God, nothing would exist so the only reason things exist is because of God. Regardless of it's veracity, it is a empty statement.

God created the Universe is an empty statement to you? What do you consider a full statement?

Just like I can pick out two identical socks from a mixture without any intelligence a dot could randomly place things and some of them end up seeming correct. I furthermore went on to say that to an observer who comes into play after this has all occurred, there is no way of telling the whole thing was random to begin with since all that doesn't get destroyed would "look" correct. I can understand being a bit confused, you'd have to start at the beginning of this conversational thread.

Well, we were talking about a dot placing planets and stars in places which made it seem like those planets and stars sprang into being fully formed with whatever underpinnings are required. I have no idea how a dot would go about creating gravity or whatever else is required to form a planet. To best answer that question, we may need to wait for such a dot to join this forum.

For crying out loud, I can't believe no one has mentioned a 5 iron, a 3 wood, a putter or a wedge.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.
