I love hymns. Basically, anything by Crosby, Newton and Watts.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

RUSH and BOC are both bands who promote belief in the occult. They should be avoided without regard. Weezer is just a stupid stoner band from California. There is no reason to worry about them. They are as dead as the day they started.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I'l give you BOC and Rush, they do sing about made up occult stuff (that doesn't take away from their awesomeness though). One of the reasons I like Weezer is because their following isn't that big.
How about Vampire Weekend, Muse, Pink Floyd, Areosmith, and AC/DC? Are any of those worth two cents.

Brother NK and I are in full agreement on this. Your choices in music lack discernment and taste, yet clearly reveal your having been raised in a suburban wasteland without Jesus. You probably think hanging out with your friends and smoking dope and not getting laid is fun. Revolting.
I'm praying that Jesus will bless you this Christmas with a few of His favorite albums under your Christmas tree:

Man their a pretty good group. I had no idea the ex-lead singer from Queens of the Stone Age was Soulsavers singer in that particular song. He does an amazing job. I haven't had anything to traumatic in my live to connect with it but it still gets the job done. I see know that I can still have my rock without anything God mocking/hedonistic in it. Diffidently going to be added to my musical repertoire (in the car by myself because I stink at singing, lol).
In my earlyer post I was infected for repeating myself and I would like to apologize, I was not aware I said the same thing or implying the same thing twice consecutively.
God bless

I have never done any drugs of any sort, and don't plan to.
As for your list I'll take a look at the albums songs and listen to some of them on youtube. I'm going to tell you this in the most polite way possible, and please do not take any offence, but I can't stand the country genre. The only exception to this is country that is heavily influenced by Folk. The new country songs are just kinda sad and it feels like they all sing about the same thing.
Thank you for your suggestions, I'll get to looking at them tomorrow, because I'm about ready to go do some homework.

You seem to be laboring under the mistaken impression that we care about your tastes in music (or any other topic). We do not. This is a CHRISTIAN forum, not your personl playground. Take your unsaved opinions to 4chan or some other deviant website.
Instead of homework, you should be studying the Holy Bible.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Did I mistakenly read the title of the thread wrong? If I did I need to be checked, but I'm sure it said "So whats your favorite band/music?"
As for the not doing homework thing, no. While I may gain more from the Bible I have to fulfill my previous obligation, now I'm off. God bless.
I would also like to know your favorite music, unless you already posted, if you have disregard this Brother Z.

Sřren Kierkegaard: "The Absurd, or to act by virtue of the absurd, is to act upon faith ... I must act, but reflection has closed the road so I take one of the possibilities and say: This is what I do, I cannot do otherwise because I am brought to a standstill by my powers of reflection."

"Smiling Bob" ?
Your self-pleasuring obscurantism has no power here, Mister. Be gone, in Jesus precious name! or accept Him as your Lord and Savior. The choice is yours, and He is waiting.
