TrueChristian™ Costume Contest! -
10-05-2015, 09:56 AM
It's important for us to dominate Helloweiner with the Good News of Christ Jesus' temporary sacrifice for our dirty filthy sins! It's time for us to take this day BACK!
This year's Costume Contest prize will be a coupon for a free oil anointing service, redeemable at any hour of the day or night at the Landover Boy's Dormitory. You may submit your entry in this thread. Unsaved trash may also enter, but no prize will be awarded if they win, as that would obviously just be a waste.
As a reminder, last year's contest winners were Platinum Level Landover Tithers who dressed as the terrifying Jim Henson monsters KERMIT THE FROG and MISS PIGGY. Good luck!

I pray I win I pray I win. There is nothing I'd like more at the moment than a good gentle (or ralphing) rubdown from the boys. I've been really stiff and backed up lately and I just know they would relieve me of my pain.
This year, if it's ok with God, I was thinking of dressing as Gabriel. I think I look good but vanity isn't something I'm very good at, praise God.

I am going to dress up as the most terrifying and repulsive creature imaginable, the grendel that Jesus finds most revolting and almost beyond all Salvation.
An evolutionary biologist!
Psalms 55:19
God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
- Point one, no changes beyond Created Kinds.
- Point two, almost no hope for evil lotion inventors, as they fear not God.
I'm going to scare the bejeezuz outta the young 'uns!
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

I plan on scaring the devil out of the kids by going as something every child in the world should fear.

In my area, we drive around the Mexican areas this time of year (OK, the truth is we do it all year long) and shoot the glass out of the papist front yard shrines with our pellet guns. It is still legal in Texas to shoot Mexicans with BB guns, BTW. Once we get the glass out, we pulverize the saint statues within through the good offices of a hearty, old timey fusillade of BB's. It doesn't make much noise, so we can usually do several on each block without arousing the natives.
Our goal is to maintain our reflexes for the annual Witch Hunt. When is it anyway? This year, we are going to win for sure.

I remember doing that with my trustworthy Freon powered BB machine gun.
That was back in the good old days before the tree-hugging Commie EPA made up lies about Freon being harmful to the environment.

In OzTrailer we have a BB gun that enables us to remove the glass and statue at the same time. Our BB guns fire up to 18 small pellets at a time.

You might try a gun auction website. If I remember correctly, there was also a compressed air attachment for it. But an auto tire-filling air tank doesn't give you the mobility of a Freon can.

By coincidence, we were looking at costumes today and my 7-year-old daughter is keen to go as what she calls a penguin witch.
Just look at those flippers!

That flag's no big deal - it's just part of a little local awareness campaign. I live very near the English Channel, and we have to be constantly on the look out for boatloads of suppurating migrants. As an Austrian, you'll understand.

Yeah, no sorry I don't understand at all, I'm still trying to get my head around why the Englitch men put things in their bottoms. I remember a comedy skit I had seen as a young man, by some matchstick of a man named after a farm animal "John Geese"? That tried to explain it in a humorous manner but it failed to explain the practice on a practical level.
I must appologise for something perhaps. I was of the understanding you were married so I fail to fathom why it is you would be seaching for a migrant on television? Again I have to apologise as I don't watch television anymore, it's full of evil, especially the Englitch Channels. Besides who has the time for such things with so much of Gods work to be done.

I just love how creative the people in our congregation can be! I'm told that Sister Mabel Wigguns is again going to dress up as Lot's wife after she was turned into pillar of salt.
I wonder if I could dress up as a cherry pie or ' bride?

Has anyone tried the halloween makeup kit advertised in the back of the Landover True Saver? Does it have any burnt cork in it?

OH WOW I haven't seen that Make-up set for years. I remember using it when I went Black Face to a friends funeral. He would of really appreciated that.
I looked OK I was a little disappointed in the tone but it worked. Everyone was talking about it for ages, even the local newspaper got in on it.
