One teenager is dead, and his brother is in critical condition, after their church applied whole Biblical discipline to them.

New Hartford Police Chief Michael Inserra told reporters that following a church service on Sunday night, 19-year-old Lucas Leonard and his brother, 17-year-old Christopher Leonard, were forced to sit through what parishioners called a “counseling session” that turned violent. For hours, the teens were physically punished “in hopes that each would confess to prior sins and ask for forgiveness,” Inserra said.

The practice of confessing sins to one another and the practice of beating children are both Biblically sound and only a secular totalitarian thug would arrest a family for practicing their religious freedoms.

Lucas Leonard was pronounced dead Monday at a nearby hospital, after sustaining blows to his abdomen, back, genitals and thighs, police said. Inserra said autopsy results showed contusions to his torso and extremities.

Christian values are the cornerstone of American society, and as any good Christian who has studied the Bible can tell you, beating a child about the stomach is a wholly acceptable form of discipline.

Really, I'd say the punishment was very light, considering the Bible permits parents to outright stone their children to death for being rebellious.

Their parents, Bruce Leonard, 65, and Deborah Leonard, 59, from Clayville, were charged with first-degree manslaughter, Inserra said at a news conference Wednesday. The two are being held in Oneida County Jail on $100,000 bail. Four fellow church members were charged with second-degree assault and are being held on $50,000 bail.

And here is where the insidious agenda of the secular agenda comes into view. The state plans to make nearly half a million dollars on the bails for which they're now holding these innocent Christians.

It is not enough for Big Secularism to take away our rights and freedoms as Christians, but they hold us for ransom now, too.

Police have not given a possible motive for the attack.

The Israelites knew that the land must be cleansed from them if they were to establish God's justice.
Now Christ has invaded us and purges His new territory to establish God's grace.

We are His body, set free from what is reserved for those who will not love Him.

Secular values cannot bring Salvation but preserve the very standard Jesus came to overthrow. Indeed, humanism even denies the need for Redemption at all. How could there be any original sin for Jesus to purge? they wonder. What place for a Redeemer? and think they bring liberty but Jesus is very clear. They bring nothing at all.

Born evil; and The Bible explains that by secular, human standards we remain evil. No change. No victory claimed by Jesus. They bring nothing to the table and nothing is as good as it gets.

For those who love Jesus, The Bible explains, there is a present and enduring joy. For those who don't, everlasting torture. Will you accept His love today? Or will you reject His values and contribute to the secular value system which, as The Bible makes plain, certainly leads to Hades and destruction.

This is such a great point. Libtards are always telling us that what homosexuals do behind closed doors, in their own homes is none of our business. How is this any different?
