Pray for me -
07-11-2007, 10:30 AM
Please pray for me. I have hit bottom. Since my wife died, I just haven't been able to cope. I took to drinking. I drink every mnute I'm awake. I can't sleep at night. I just lay there shaking and getting cold sweats and then feeling too hot for the covers. I drink everything, even cheap wine. The kids know about and they try to help out and drag me out of the bathroom if I pass out in there.
I need help. Please, pray for me, because things is looking awful dark for me right now.

Get yourself back to the bible. start reading and don't stop until the shaking stops. Then you get to church.
Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Dwayne let me ask you a question: Did you take out any insurance on your wife? I'm guessing you did.
I think I know the answer to all your problems. Why don't you run right down to the bank right now, and withdraw all the money you've got. Then hit that Paypal button at the bottom of this page and send it all in to Landover Baptist Church.
I just know that once you do tithe every red cent you have, Jesus will set your heart at ease and reward you ten-fold. It'll help control your drinking problem too.
Dwayne, it's what your dearly departed wife would have wanted. And its what Jesus wants you to do. Do it now, Dwayne, before you sober up.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Why are you sad she died? Are you drinking because of your nerves? Are you afraid she went to H - E - double - hockey - sticks?
Premarital sex is only a roadblock to holiness. You don't need to touch another person's body–or your own–to have a rockin' good time!
Abstinence: it's not easy but neither are you!

Dear Dwayne ---
First, relax and know that God loves you ---
--- Now make this a ritual, pour your wine and all alcohol in the house down the drain; pray as you are doing it. Get your Bible and start reading; the Gospels of the New Testament are a good place to start --- Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.
On day two of your detox you will have a nasty hangover, headache, dehydration and probably a sick stomach. Never mind that, just drink plenty of water and eat some good food. On day three, your shakes may get worse, but hang in there! --- you will do fine, just keep reading the Bible. When you wake up in the morning on the fourth day, magically most of your withdrawal symptoms will be gone --- praise! --- and keep drinking fluids and eating good meals, and reading the Bible.
Never take another drink, Dwayne --- remember that --- live your life instead, enjoy your kids, and love Jesus because he loves you
1st Timothy 2: 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1st Timothy 2: 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works ...
1 Timothy 5: 16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed ...
Proverbs 31: 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness ...
Proverbs 31: 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness ...

Dwayne, get a grip. Seems your problem isn't drinking; it's the fact that somewhere during the course of your marriage you became a blatant sissy. Did you help with the dishes or take your shoes off when you came in? Did you ever listen to her problems with sincerity and told her you understood? Seems you've fallen for the feel good marriage style of secular people and could well be on your way to becoming a queer. Pull yourself together, stop your girlish blubbering and drink like a man.
G'wan now; get!

Good point Brother Deaner!
Dwayne,
Listen to Brother Deaner, he is an educated man. Pull yourself together Dwayne and think about what you might have done to anger Jesus so He killed your wife. You still have two kids, do you want them to die too? I hope not. Jesus does love you and He wants you to be happy but you have to stop forcing Jesus to these horrible things to you.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Praise Jesus! I think we could all stand to learn something from this man's example. If only that wench Rachel was capable of making posts like this.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Glory to God! I's glad thatchoo has seen the Truth © and haves decided to turn yo life ovah to the Lord. If you evah gets them thoughts about yo wife again, remember that that be sinful and turn yo thoughts to the Lord!
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. - Luke 14:26
And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. - Matthew 8:21-22
See? The Lord be much mo' important than yo wife's crusty, stanky corpse. Praise!
"He went on CNN and he laughed at us, and he said, 'They'll never get me because Allah will protect me. Allah will protect me.' Well, you know what? I knew that my God was bigger than his. I knew that my God was a real God and his was an idol." - Lt. General William G. Boykin

I wonder if the demons of alcohol will be exorcised from this wonderful man's body.
If they will violently vomitously vacuate this future True Christians ™ body.
Praise Jesus.
Reminds me of Revelation 3:16 for some reason.

First off, I'm sorry for your loss, I can't begin to even understand it. She's gone to a better place man, and you gave her everything you could.
First off, get your self some help. a friend, or a doctor, someone, who can help you, and do it quickly, cuz the longer you leave it, the worse it gets.
Secondly, you have to let go dude. Now, I'm not saying you listen to me, but you'll have to evenutally.
Again, I'm sorry about your wife.

Omerta,
What about Jesus? He needs to get himself to Jesus. Jesus is the ultimate healer, unlike those quacks.

Jesus only heals if you believe he will. Same with any sort of faith, it only works if you believe, but sometimes people don't have that kinda time, they need to get healed physically now before they die.
As you folks say, you don't want people to go to hell right? So what's wrong with him getting physical help from human doctors so he can live long enough to convert over then eh? If that's all you really care about anyways.

Praise! Jesus certainly can straighten him out. Why, I used to be an alcoholic too, until I found Him. Now, I can have up to six pints a night, every night, and still not be an alcoholic, because I have Him!
