You seem to really like logic, so I will attempt to give you an exercise in logic.
1. You either believe that the Bible is the Word of God, or not.
2. If you
don't believe that the Bible is the Word of God, -> that would make it just a random composition of ramblings of some people -> thus making it not worthy of following at all.
3. If, however, you believe that the Bible
is the Word of God, -> then you shouldn't have a choice of choosing and picking whatever you like. Word of God is the Word of God. Period.
Therefore, as Christians, we are bound to follow God's Word.

But on the whole, the point I wanted to make was we will go nowhere as a country by shunning different cultures.

We have been doing just fine doing exactly that for the last 300 years - not only towards the Indians, but also blacks, Mexicans, and Asians. Also, until 1930's or so, towards Italians, Irish, and all sorts of folks from Eastern Europe.

There are too many people who disagree to convert them all. Tell me why I am wrong in saying cooperation will not get us further than aggressive rejection.

Because God says so.
