I don't really know what to tell you, friend. We've pointed you at the Guidebook (the Bible, in case you missed it), and we've asked you to put in a token amount of work: to read it! We aren't here to read the whole thing to you! You see, unlike so many other False christians (note the small "c"), we believe the whole Bible. If we only believed a small fraction of it like most so-called Christians, we could sit here and tell you "God Loves You (John 3:16)!" and everything would be simple! But unfortunately we don't know if that is true. We are all very busy people with very important jobs, so we can't be walking you through the ins-and-outs of Deuteronomy, walk you through the intricate genealogies, etc. That we leave to you! We make our Pastors available for questions on the trickier issues that require the guiding hand of someone who has achieved the pinnacle of faith, but for the most part, we ask that you at least do your own reading of the Bible--and the
entire Bible, not just the feel-good parts.

By all means, we encourage you to bare all. This is not a place of judgment, it is a place for like-minded Christians to be open and honest with each other.

Well for starters, if you had read your Bible you would know that you are living in sin. Unfortunately, that is not exactly the recipe for success, in God's (and our) eye(s). If you had read the Bible, specifically Deuteronomy 22:28-29, you would know that God requires that a rapist marry the raped woman:

|
Now, if you are the man who raped your wife, then I commend you for doing the Godly thing! However, I suspect that you are just some other man who came along to steal another man's wife, meaning that you are complicit in adultery. I know this may come as a shock to you, but remember: you are here to learn God's Plan for you, and sometimes God's Plan doesn't match our plans.
Not to mention the severe harm you are doing to that poor child, whose father has been rudely shunted aside for you. Your wife has chosen carnal pleasures over the Biblical path laid out for her, and the true victim here is the child. She probably barely even knows her father, and instead has the cheap knock-off substitute: you.

I'm not sure if you meant it this way, but saying "It's the 21st century" is no argument. We Christians know that the world is due to degenerate into depravity as years go by, so by using "It's the 21st century" as an excuse, you are merely acknowledging the moral decay in society.
I think by "damaged goods", we simply mean that no good, upstanding American would want to marry someone who should be married to someone else. You stole a man's wife, and stealing is wrong. Even our secular laws in this country support that!

Men are cowards that's why they wrote these so called "stories" to give themselves more power. All most want is power, it's how we are.

How does one ever start to make this stuff up?! Friend, we don't engage in hysterical, mystical (mysterical?!) beliefs here. It appears you've fallen for the "New Age" trap, that women are
really the ones with the power, that men
fear them for some reason, etc. This is patently ridiculous. I think you've spent a little too much time with your damaged wife and started to believe some of her nonsense. Pull yourself together, sir!
If you want to talk witches and spells and whatnot, there are plenty of other websites you can visit. However, if you want to talk Salvation and Redemption, you've come to the right place

Lost Bible chapters? This is a myth that is trotted out every so often to try to create doubt about the Bible. As you've read here on this very board, the 1611 King James Version of the Bible is the
complete Word of God. There are no mistakes, there are no "missing books", there are no further revelations from God that can be added. Anyone claiming otherwise is simply picking and choosing what they want the Bible to be.
Not to mention that you are clearly being dishonest. Perhaps you've never heard of the books of Esther and Ruth? Both women were influential in the Bible, and in shaping our faith. If you had read the Bible as we have told you time and again, you wouldn't spout this nonsense! Women play a vital role in the Bible, and I am surprised that you haven't heard this, considering that you seem so in-tune with women's issues....
It appears that you aren't happy with the God of the Bible, so you are attempting to create one of your own: adding books in willy-nilly in an attempt to shape God into one of your own choosing.
If we allowed that, what would stop every person from constructing one of their own fancy? If we did that, we'd turn into Hindus with millions of gods! No, my friend, there is One True God, who exists in three parts: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost.

Now this is no way to treat your hosts here. We have all been very patient, listening to your "arguments" and trying to coax you to read the Bible. How is that childish, or pathetic? Unless perhaps you meant to insult our faith, calling our faith childish, in which case I say.....
Thank you! As the Lord tells us in Luke 18:17:

Indeed we are childish, in that sense. We unquestioningly believe every Word that proceeds from the Bible, and believe it 100%. However, I must object to your claims that we are pathetic. We are merely a simple breed, us True Christians, who live only to learn more of our God and strive to be like Him. If that is pathetic, then sure, call us pathetic. But I assure you, when Judgment Day comes, we will be rejoicing and you will be watching from a much, much hotter place.

"Noobs" is a word that is a shortened version of "newbies", referring to someone who is new to a certain area. In this sense, you are new both to Christianity and to our Forums. If the shoe fits....

We maintain a family-friendly board here, safe for all ages from 10 to 100. In that sense we use words that are appropriate for all ages. We ask that you abide by these rules as long as you are here.

We have told you where the "answers section" is! What more do you want?? The answers you seek are found in the Bible, and yet you continue to ignore our instructions. We have been nothing but patient and kind with you, and you continue to ask inane questions that are easily answered by a complete study of the Word of God. Don't push your frustrations out on us:
you are the one who refuses to do the work! There are many, many places to read the Bible! I suggest BibleGateway.com as a start: it's free, they have the King James Version, and it is easily accessible on your iPhone, iPad or droid!

But I'm pretty sure you are too closed minded to look up anything that's different, which makes you seem ignorant.

Clearly "Joo" is known as a nickname for "Jew" as anyone with two brain cells to rub together knows. We like to play around here a little bit, and this is just sort of an "inside joke" around these parts. If it offends you, then I suggest you lighten up a little bit--none of our formerly Jewish members have ever raised a complaint! We also occasionally like to refer to our colored members as "tar babies"--I assume you find that offensive also
?
And as for not knowing anything about Jewish religion, that is patently false. We have many experts here at Landover who are well-versed in the Jewish traditions, holidays, tax evasion, etc. The Jewish faith is no different from Muslims, Buddhists or Eskimos: they are all false religions followed by a deceived group of people. Our job here on earth is to help them find the One True God who died for them, that they might live eternally with Him.

Personally, I was home-schooled in my formative years, and attended Landover University for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I spent a few years at Bob Jones University as a guest lecturer and am a regular guest lecturer at Liberty University.
I think that you might be barking up the wrong tree in comparing us to secular "Christian" schools, as they are usually just schools who like to pick and choose which parts of the Bible they wish to believe and which parts they want to ignore (see: any school run by Episcopalians!). Catholic churches are even
worse, since they teach complete nonsense: saints, papal rule, etc. I assure you, our children here at Landover receive a top-notch education without any of the worldly nonsense that you'll find at these other private schools, not to mention public schools!

Well good for you. Are you also training them to be prefer the fairer sex? Allowing women to make their own choices is like allowing a chicken to roam free: it won't end well for anyone! While I applaud your decision to train them to defend themselves from potential attackers, I suggest you may want to think twice before you teach them to be
too self sufficient! They'll self-sufficient themselves right into old-maid-ism!

Are you just here to try to "shock" us? Some of us Christians are not as naive as you may think. We have a black President, for crying out loud. We've seen it all! Some of our pastors have even done extended ministries in truck-stop bathrooms--
they certainly have seen everything! The fact that you married an Indian is the least of our concern! There are hundreds of them hanging around the casinos, just waiting for a proper man to take them home to take care of them!
Also: there you go again with this "Mother Earth" nonsense. Either you're into witchcraft or you're one of them self-avowed "Pagans". Either way, you're clearly missing a few circuits upstairs.

There is certainly nothing wrong with a man being able to cook! In fact, I like to cook myself up a fine steak with some potato au gratin occasionally! However, the bigger issue is that your wife must know her place: you may cook in place of her occasionally, but it is her duty to keep her man well-fed.

You have the gall to come to
our forums to call
us trolls? Usually trolls have some sort of hidden agenda. We have been nothing but open here: encouraging you to read your Bible and to spend some time in prayer, seeking the Lord. Instead you have come here as an avowed non-Christian and are trying to spread your "Mother Earth" nonsense here. And
we're the trolls???

Boom, called it! Again, are you just here for the shock value? We've had people here try to shock us, posting pictures of transvestites, homosexualism, gore, etc. It doesn't work. We've seen it all. Being proud of being a pagan is a worthless endeavor. I suggest you work on being proud of being a Christian
Friend, I will pray for you. It seems as though you have been hoodwinked by the pagans of this world, who obviously have you eating out of their hands. I pray that God will continue to work in your heart, to open your mind so that you can accept the loving embrace of Jesus in the near future.
