As the child of a celebrity, did Jesus suffer? -
10-05-2008, 07:25 AM
As the child of God, the most Famous and Almighty Power in the universe, was Jesus under great public scrutiny as a youngster? Joseph and Mary must have made a fortune selling his first pictures to People magazine, and I bet the evil, soul-sucking paparazzi never left him alone for a second after that.
So many children of celebrities fall victim to drink and drugs, and the jaded evils of Life In The Fast Lane. Surely Jesus showed extraordinary discipline in not going that route, but remaining meek and mild and full o' the milk of human kindness!
If only today's celebity children could follow his lead...
Pray for Rumor Willis.

Indeed, Mistress Cookie. How the dear man must have suffered under our amazed stares. These godless atheists have no idea...

As I understand it he went missing between the ages of 13 to 30. Possibly Juvie then straight to prison? Then he hung out with a hooker and a bunch of sailors(fishers of men? Duh!) Also seemed kinda fond of the wine. Sounds to me like he had a pretty good time of it to me. Maybe thats why I strive so hard to follow his teachings(cept for the sailors) Hola to Cookie. Havent seen ya in a while, glad to see ya finally made bail.

Blessed Greetings to you, too, my Bozo. I am glad to see you've rated posting priviledges again! You are EXACTLY the kind of lost soul our Good Lord loved to lay his hands on and help back to his feet. It brings a tear to my eye to see that the Good Olde Ways are still at work, right here amongst us.
There are still a lot of possessed lawyers and IRS people and former members of my late husband's flock after me for depositions and such, and I've had to sneak from safe house to safe house to stay a step ahead of the devils. This has kept me from posting as often as I'd like, because there isn't always an untraceable line.
Ta!

Outside having the odd oriental king visit with birthdy presents and Herod trying to kill Him when he was a baby, no, He received no notariety as a youngster.

As Jesus said in Luke 12:49-53,
I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straightened till it be accomplished! Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division...
So yes, He did remain meek and mild and full o' the milk of human kindness.
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name.... Jeremiah 10:25

"And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?" John 6:42

As photography had not been revealed by God to Louis Dagurre and Nicephore Niepce yet, it would have been funny to see the 'Sketcharazzis' chasing Jesus around trying to draw his picture.
And if Jesus was on a horse or in a wagon, there might have been a whole group of sketcharazzis chasing Him on donkeys, with their papyrus flapping in the breeze!
But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
And charged them that they should not make him known:
