My Man Cave -
08-16-2010, 03:07 PM
Brothers as you all know, the females have their menstra huts, and what a blessing they are. For one week a month we can have the peace and quiet we so deserve. During that week we can study the bible and contemplate how we can further spread the Word of God. But what of the other three weeks in a month? We need a place to escape the yappity yappity of females, a place where we can take off our shoes and relax. A place to enjoy a cold drink and read in peace. A place where we can have other men over and not be bothered by you know who. I have had a portion of my basement converted into a Man Cave, my little get away. Its not that big only 3500 square feet, but its a manly 3500 square feet.
Its a place to display my gun collection, watch a manly movie, read the Holy Bible or just take a nap. Fell free to stop over.

What an excellent idea and it looks great!
One question though. If your wife is not allowed there then how do you keep it clean and how do you get your drinks?

Mighty impressive, but I wonder why you have two pastafarians on your television set?

Thanks Brother Dewitt. We all enjoyed your "park it in my man cave boys" flyer last Sunday. You have a mighty big gun there so we all are dying to see it.

Bobby-Joe you and all my brothers are welcome to park it in my man cave anytime. I do have a very large gun and I would just love it if you came over and handled it. Just remember if you cock it you must fire it, you cant leave a loaded chamber.

Marvelous addition James. I am glad to see you took my advice and made a secured gun room. You construction messicans did a terrific job hiding the gun ports. My condolences to their families, I heard their skiff over turned during a storm in the Gulf and that the oil laden waters burst into flames, completely consuming them.
I cannot wait to come over for a nice game of nookie.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I have hired a mans man, a butler, well not really a butler, I promoted my nigra Toby. He is learning how to fix cold drinks as well as making sandwiches. He does a good job of cleaning and what not. The best part is he only talks when spoken to and the its just yes sir!

The guys from the TV installers where trying it out. I have relaced the move they left with the entire collection of John Wayne movies as well as all the old James Bond movies. I am adding to my collection daily, this week I hope to have all the Dirty Harry movies and a few of Clint Eastwood's cowboy movies. I have also ordered a selection of Bible based movies as well. Any suggestions will be accepted.

Brother James,
Thank you for having the good manners by displaying my wedding gift in your playroom/ armory. it was not necessary. I saw on your wall that you already had two 50 caliber machine guns before receiving the one from me. I want you to know that I did keep the receipt and I can drop off a catalog if you wish to trade it in on something else. Say whatever you like the Ma Deuce is always a popular gun and there will be no problem with trading it in.
1 Chronicles 16:15
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Well I'm glad to see you've mounted the flame thrower I sold you in the proper light.
I would like to stop by some evening this week and play a few rounds of pool (non-betting of course) and show you the proper care of your gun.

Does it have to be called a "Man Cave?" That name conjures up bad memories for me, since it was my nickname in prison.
My story is like that of most, if not all Born Again Christians: I was lost, I did some drugs, I had sex with a lot of women, then I had sex with a lot of men, then I did it with some children, then I did it with some animals, then I went back to women for a little bit but also did it with animals on the side, then I did it with men and some children, then I got a bunch of irreversible STDs and can no longer get an erection so I decided to give my life to Christ since I can't bone women or men or children or animals anymore. WOW! Would I ever love to drink scotch and smoke cigars in that INCREDIBLE space of yours! I want to learn more about your group too--I just found it and am greatly excited in so many ways. That gun room, the cigars, the escape from women...tell me more when you have time!

You have a lot to learn it seems. The first thing you must do is to introduce yourself in the correct forum. Tell us all about yourself, your life with Christ, maybe your favorite verse from The Bible. Then you might mention how you feel about tithing to the church, you know what you can afford etc, everyone would love to learn all about you.
