Question about heaven. -
08-02-2010, 05:11 AM
I have a question about how Heaven works.
Now it's quite simple, so I'll explain just go ahead with it.
According to the belief of the majority on this forum, women should be refined to the household and some have gone as far as to say women have no right to education.
But when these obedient women go to Heaven, what happens? Do they continue to serve their man in Heaven? Do they finally get a break? What if their man has sinned and didn't tell her, and then she goes to Heaven and he doesn't. Who does she serve then?
Just wondering how it all works out.

So we're supposed to do all the hard work for you? Can't pick up a Bible on your own and find out what it says?
Matthew 22
23The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
24Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
25Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
26Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
27And last of all the woman died also.
28Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
29Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
31But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
32I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
33And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

It appears to me by your comments that you assume tending to MULTIPLE home duties, raising children, catering to husbands every whim, praying to Jesus CONSTANTLY, are unimportant things a woman does?
Are you assuming that secular book smarts are the only thing to make a woman worthy?
You sound like one of those male chauvanists or a lezbean.
YIC,
Mrs. Phebe Dewitt.
There's Jesus here,
Just see what He offers me....
Down here my sins forgiven,
Up there a home in heaven
Praise God, That's the way for me!!

The bible cost too much money.

Bolded lines of interest.
First: this line ignores if the two people die in a car crash together. the wife and husband die at the same time, but the husband was secretly a sinner. so what happens? furthermore if this is all there is about the matter, then it completely ignores what people do in heaven? do you just sit around being bored all day?
Second: If god is the god of the living, why can't he do anything ever in the mortal realm? if he's not the god of the dead, then he has no control over my soul.
other replies -- once again -- were just personal attacks so I won't bother replying to them.

You can get it for free from a Baptist church, from many online sources or just read it online by following my link.

The wife goes to heaven and the husband goes to hell. And heaven is going to be a very busy place, we have worshipping and laughing at those in hell. If you actually bothered to read the Bible you would know this.

He does things in the mortal realm all of the time. He makes Babies, answers prayers, creates clouds, smites people, he's quite busy.

laughing at people in hell... wow... that's so messed up. and don't you think you did enough worshipping on earth? after all

why worship if he isn't the god of you any more?

even if i believed a god existed, the most i'd say is that he set the stage for those things. but that doesn't mean he actually makes each and every one happen. furthermore, if he did, why does he sometimes make birth defects? the baby did nothing wrong

The Internet doesn't exist where you live? How are you typing on here, by Bongo Drum? You know what, since you're nothing but a useless troll I'll just respond with Biblical quotes. I'll let the pastors decide what your fate on this board is.

Revelation 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Numbers 14:18 The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
