Pope is Wrong Again -
12-23-2011, 02:53 PM
I don't understand how the Catlicks can elevate such uninformed people to be their CEO.
The Pope's Christmas message had an antiChristian theme. He claimed the financial mess in Europe is the result of selfishness.
That is, he said, if people were just more generous and helped those who are down and out, the economy would be much better. Mr. Popeman, I'm here to tell you just the opposite is true.
If each of us would just do better for ourselves, and force those on the bottom of our economies to do the same, everyone will climb to the top. That should have been the Pope's message at Christmas.
He should have provided hope for people, like the Godly Pastors at Landover Baptist Church do.

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Of course the Pope is wrong again. Can we really expect the Whore of Babylon to be correct about anything?
You ask how Catholics can elevate anyone like that to be CEO and I can suggest, as a former Mary-Worshiper, that Catholics are conditioned to not think but simply obey. That's why they send their boys to "work" with the fiddling priests as well. The priest says, "I need to see your young, supple son in my quarters every Tuesday afternoon, in private," and the good Catholic parent will smile and say, "Yes Father!" They don't think about it. It's not unlike giving a dog a treat and watching him drool first. It's just automatic, "Yes Father!"
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

At risk of being attacked, i am on this forum as a Catholic Christian. I am continuously desiring to seek truth. This is a safe bet, as Christ is the fullness of truth. Is there anyone on this forum willing to have a loving conversation regarding our similarities and our differences in an attempt to come closer to God? I will not speak in a hateful manner to you and i ask you do the same to me.

If "Christ is the fullness of truth" why have you added to His teachings?

I would be happy, as a former catholic, to engage in a dialog with you regarding the similarities and differences and the only way to become closer to God, the real God.

Wafers turning into Jesus meat in your belly? Original sin? Purgatory? Find me these things in the Bible.
Your silly dress up cult had me in its clutches once until I turned to Christianity. I've never been so happy since I saw through the lies of Catholic dogma, read my Bible and saw what the real God I should have been worshipping was like. He is as real as the fires of Hell and will burn you forever if you don't ditch the ring kissers.
If not for yourself, do it for your children's virginity.

Lewis... trying to talk sense of any kind to this bunch is akin to teaching lab rats the Oboe... not that I have not tried for years but there comes a point when one realises that a roomful of married cousins are always going to have bent babies no matter how many times you say a Hail Mary or two.
Understand that the majority of these folks are mid-western Americans who were home schooled by parents with the IQ of salad bars and they willingly accept the craziest notions of Biblical interpretation to the point that they turn the words of Jesus into hate speech that would make David Duke blush.
There are a number of proper Christian (Roman Catholic) forums where you can enjoy verbal intercourse with countless men and women of the cloth who would be happy to engage you in this endeavor.
Bless you, my former Altar Boy,
Father Mo.

Firstly if catholics were Christians they would not deny the veracity of The Bible. And before you start with the "The Bible + Tradition" line I should mention that any tradition which contradicts its source documents can hardly be considered any sort of extension of those source documents, whatever they may be. Secondly, (I've decided that any additional material would be wasted here).
