Is it a sin to pay $6.66 for something? Yes, yes it is. -
11-18-2013, 08:33 PM
So, the other day I went to the McDonald's here in Freehold for breakfast. It's been a while since my doctor advised me to stay away from a fast food, high carb, and high sugar diet, since I've had two heart attacks in the past two years, but I figured Our Lord Jesus Christ would look after me, being such a Godly man and all. Of course, I haven't been able to post much recently, being in the hospital for extended stays, but the problem has seemed to work itself out.
I paid $1.99 for an Egg McMuffin, $2.39 for a large iced coffee, and then $1.79 for a Reeses Pieces McFlurry ice cream for dessert, but the total after tax came to $6.66. I was immediately taken back.
McDonald's: "That will be $6.66, sir."
Me: "Well, I won't pay that."
McDonald's: "Sir, the total you ordered is $6.66, and that is what you need to pay."
I was shocked. I know Christ has taught us that money is separate from our holy holdings in heaven...
Matthew 22:20-21
And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
Yet, at the same time, I realized that money and trade is what the Devil uses to control us (Obama recently enforced mandatory credit card chip implants into people, according to one of the Tea Party facebook pages I subscribe to)...
Revelation 13:16-17
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Thus, I realized I was in a predicament. Here I was, being forced to pay $6.66 to McDonald's, when it is clear that the Bible says the Devil will force us to pay $6.66 for items. To do so, would be a sin.
I bargained for a cheaper price. "Can I just pay six dollars even?" I offered. I was declined. So I offered $6.50 and then $6.60. I was refused. I then requested to speak to the manager. After a while a manager came out and I told him about how it was a sin for a True Christian™ like myself to pay $6.66 for anything, in that I would be enabling Satan's plot in world domination, so he offered that if I buy an additional product he would throw in a free apple pie.
So, I requested a second Reese's McFlurry ice cream, which changed the total, and I also got a free apple pie out of it. In the end, I won. Although, I did scold him out and suggest to him that other True Christians™ like myself could not wield such an appetite and that it would behoove him to ignore the $6.66 total and give them a cheaper amount.
DO NOT ALLOW SATAN'S MARK UPON YOUR HAND! Paying $6.66 for anything is accepting the Devil unto you, and rejecting Jesus Christ as your savior and Lord. DO NOT EVER PAY $6.66 LEST YOU BE THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR ALL OF ETERNITY.
Revelation 20:11-15
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Is a Reece's McFlurry worth an eternity in Hell?

I'll never understand iced coffee. Coffee should be so hot that it burns.
Clearly Satan influenced the pricing of McDonalds to seduce people into having to pay $6.66. That clown of theirs is clearly a demon straight from Hell. Fortunately our Godly Pastors outsmart Satan on a regular basis!
On a different matter, and this is not related to your second quintuple bypass, but can I please get back those guns you borrowed? I considered visiting you in the hospital, but I don't like their coffee.
The clown from Hell:
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

I fail to see how the price of these beverages can be 'influenced by the devil'. What would happen if I were purchasing a bible and some nacho's for the ride home and the price totalled to $6.66?

Where are you buying Bibles and nachos together?
You should buy your Bibles and nachos from separate places. Any place that sells both is unholy.
Ecclesiasticus 42:5 And of merchants' indifferent selling; of much correction of children; and to make the side of an evil servant to bleed.
I Kings 7:23
And he made a moulten Sea, ten cubites from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, & his height was fiue cubits: and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it round about.

This has happened to me on a few occasions! Back then, I wasn't too sure what it meant but I didn't take any chances. I'd just tell the cashier 'never mind' and leave without the goods, get into my car and say a prayer before driving away.

McDonalds is a heathen place owned by Satan himself. The proof of this is that the sum of your purchases came to $6.17, not $6.66! So what was happening with the other 49c, hmmm? No doubt straight into Satan's pocket.
Further, McDonalds is a plot to get you to die sooner so that Satan has you just where he wants you after your heart attack.

That's exactly how it is sister Irene, you are the first woman I've ever met who understands sales tax this well. You surely are a credit to your gender.
The Bible mentions various income taxes, temple taxes, tithes, etc, but no verse mentions a sales tax, so whoever instituted that tax and those who collect it can only be doing so under the directions from satan himself, as you rightly surmised.
Leviticus 26:15-16
And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

Why should I pay more for something because the merchant's price clerk is demonic?

Interesting. I've never read about the "neighbor" of the beast. Can you share where you found this in the Holy Bible?
Thanks!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Arturd has already asserted that Jesus had "Chinese feet." So I wonder what horrible mish-mosh comprises this "neighbor of the beast"? It must be terrible indeed.
I for one will be waiting on the edge of my seat in anticipation of arturd's [drug-addled] response!

Father said Burger King tried to do a very similar thing when he recently went to East Brunswick to purchase a gift for Mother's Christmas. He stopped at BK, ordered items that totaled $6.66, and upon refusing to pay that amount, the assistant manager offered to sell him an "Angry Whopper," which would bring the total to a more Godly amount. However, the sin of anger is a grievous one. No doubt the Angry Whopper is possessed by a spirit of anger although you won't see it on any sign or television ad. I mention this to caution Christians that unscrupulous restaurants might prey on unsuspecting folk to purchase a sinful item that may, indeed, prevent the original sin but lure one into committing an entirely different one. Oh, is there nothing in this world that satan is not trying to corrupt? Surely Jesus is coming. Come, Jesus! Come!

Oh my ... such wicked trickery! What manner of evil must lie within an "Angry Whopper"? Well, at least it wasn't a "Whorish Whopper," which may be even more offensive in the eyes of the LORD. (Hebrews 13:4)
Next thing you know, Satan will be peddling "Faggoty Fried Chicken" or "Taco Hell" in an attempt to seduce Christians into depravity.
Even if comes prematurely, it will not be soon enough!

Is that a proper way to address those that JESUS has chosen as their few?
Begone little witch, go back to your cats and thank satan that the ungodly law of this land does no allow us to burn witches as it was (and still is) proper.

A bit more respect for your elders, girl! Remember, God said in Leviticus 19:32:
Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.
Just because the dear reverend is getting quite feeble and frail in his sunset years, does not mean you can just go around making fun of him.

Most places are able to give 10% or 20% meals off to seniors or they will use the discount in case someone isn't happy with the price or doesn't have enough money
