No. You're not forgiven. That's like the Catlicks who go to confession and tell the priest all the sordid details of what they did, and think that means they're forgiven. You and I know they're not forgiven. The same way that you saying "Jesus please forgive me" in such a flippant manner does not mean you're forgiven. When you repent, it must be sincere - your whole body must feel the apology, your heart must ache with the guilt of knowing what you did was against God's laws. Anyone can say "I'm sorry" and not mean it. Criminals do it all the time to get lighter sentences.
I'm sorry dear, but it seems to me that God sees through you. He knows your faith is a shallow one. He knows you're only pretending to love Him in order to get to Heaven, and that if there weren't that reward, that you would be an atheist. God needs you to love Him and suffer His wrath, merely because He is God and not because there's a honeypot (ie: Eternal Life) at the end.

Yes. Nice to meet you. I am Harsha Shah. I am not Christian but a secular Jainist. Please, be not offended but I have a question. I was reading this thread of yours and now I am thinking: is it that easy? Is Christianity so easy? I mean, you do a foolish thing, you ask for forgiveness, you are forgiven and it is all over? Yes?
I was thinking earlier in this forum that the difference between my religion and christianity is not that large. Now, I am reconsidering the issue. Yes. You can be forgiven but the repercussions of your violence are still spreading, eh? Yes, they are! Of course they are. You make a person upset and it is escalating, that person pays it forward by being nasty to someone else, yes. I am seeing it at school with children all the time. You are forgiven but the violence leads a life of its own. It is not going to stop once you are forgiven by a god. You must make peace also with the consequences, yes! That is what we call karma. It can be a good word here, yes? Yes, I must re-think this. The difference could be greater than I was thinking. You lose guilt but do you also lose responsibility? I think it cannot be that way. Yes.
"Ecclesiastes 3:7
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak."Yes. Women are saving lives. It is time we are speaking! Yes!

Harsha, We have told you before that your word is false. 'Karma' indeed!
But you are correct in that our new member here, is not forgiven as easily as she thinks she is. If she thinks God has forgiven her, she is imagining things. It's down on that big slate of His, and when her time comes, it will not be forgotten.

Yes, Mr. farmer. You must be right. I am sorry to have offended you. I am trying to refrain from using the words of my religion and this was lapse. Yes. No, our violence is not forgotten easily. The world is so complex, so chaotic. The butterfly effect, eh? Perhaps I shall call it that, not "karma"... ? Thank you for your kind response, Mr. farmer. Yes.

Why are you writing like some coked-out long-haul trucker? Does Colossians 4:6 mean nothing to you?

Hello dear,
You are a woman, obviously, and still single, and not praising the Lord, rather, spitting in His blessed face! I know one lovely Sister-In-Christ who is not married, but one of the most godly women I know, even though, she still needs to give birth to children so that she attains Salvation.
One big thing that you need to remember is the role of women here on Earth. Women are naturally made by God subservient to men. In addition, we are more sinful as seen in Eve's fall, not Adam's. We are made weaker, quieter, and better at raising children. We are not natural leaders, strong people, and dominant people. We are made quiet and meek. Here are some verses on women and their role as women and wives.
1 Peter 3:1 "Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;"
1 Corinthians 11:3, "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God."
1 Corinthians 14:34 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but [they are commanded] to be under obedience, as also saith the law."
Genesis 2:8 "And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."
Ephesians 5:22 "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord."
1 Timothy 2:11-12 "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."
I hope these verses help!
Yours in my loving, forgiving savior Christ,
Elizabeth

I just turned 20. I don't want kids right now. I might when I get married. I'm not even married. Do u think I would have kids right now if I'm not married? 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 "I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry then burn"

I think you meant to say "I didn't kill anyone". No you didn't, at least not to my knowledge. But you may have made Jesus very sad.
See, the way an atheist would see it (the act of poking your tongue out at Sister Mary) is that you might offend Sister Mary and that is not nice to her and Jesus doesn't matter because He doesn't exist. But the way a Christian sees it is that is not nice to Jesus, and Sister Mary doesn't matter because she's a mere mortal, a competitor in that battle to win that spot in Heaven.
But I ask you, who is more important - Jesus or Sister Mary. That's a no brainer for me. (Sorry Sister Mary ) But with you, I doubt that your preference accords with mine. You gave a quick 'sorry' to Mary, thinking that was all that is required, but you did not consider for a moment how Jesus felt.
