Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

My dear Izzy,
I have been reading your posts with interest and have even responded at times. Having perused your discourse I have come to the conclusion that I need to ask you a serious panel of questions:
1. Are you suffering from the bipolar?
2. Are you an aspie?
3. Are you a paranoid schizophrenic?
4. Are you queer?
5. Are you a bed wetter? (I ask this because you've only read the kiddy version of the Bible)
If you answer yes to any of the above there is still a chance you can be Saved.
All you have to do is accept Jesus as your own personal Saviour, open yourself wide and let Him in.

Amen Sister, amen! I've yet to meet a fellow Christian that was not at least as sane as myself.
Now sanity can be a vague and elusive concept. Many people adhere to beliefs that others would consider insane. Astrology, flying saucers, global warming, and Obama's U.S. citizenship being good examples. And since sanity is such a hard thing to identify, we must use the tools at our disposal to ascertain what exactly constitutes sanity.
When we break it down to a fundamental level, what we can deduce is that a sane society is a stable society. And the one thing that we find in common with all stable societies is their reverence for the Holy Bible and the values found within its hallowed pages. Therefore we are able to conclude through deductive reasoning and with scientific certainty that sanity is defined by adherence to the Holy Bible.
In a nutshell, only Christians can be sane. So anyone who is not Christian is by definition insane.

The Bible explains how filthy we all are by nature. Vile from birth. Even "righteous" people are not immune from filth.
ISAIAH 64 . from the KJV online site . look up . whole chapter
6 We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
7 And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
This filth is the evil brought into God's Perfect Creation by Eve. She even contaminated Adam. So extreme evil that nothing died then everything died, plants were beneficial then became poisonous with thorns and stings once Eve got going the plant touched yesterday by Perfect Adam today made blisters and still makes blisters. The leaves so suited for tea became toxic to drink with no outward indications. A lion previously eating nightshade berries would suddenly become so ill that any other lion would not dare try them and rip into a zebra instead. Eve's closing mandible transformed that fruit into deadly nightshade. AND WHAT A SURPRISE FOR THE ZEBRA!! So yes, about as evil as you can get and that's what everyone is like from birth no matter how kind or thoughtful, total total filth. The Bible says so: that settles it.
UNTIL accepting Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
.Seemingly you have not done that.
..Therefore you are evil.
...Earlier you were getting confused about another cause and effect.

I'm not sure whether you're claiming that autism happens due to an unknown reason or due to a gene. If you could just say which gene, that'd be great. Thanks

(and don't think that your future offspring are immune from autism, as autism can happen even when both parents don't carry the gene).

So is this your parents' fault or not? Matthew 7:17-20 suggests that it is:
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
My future offspring are therefore perfectly safe, but thank you for your concern.

Could AssBurgers merely be simple demonic possession that can be cured with an exorcism or a few Christly beatings? Maybe if the AssBurger were scourged like the Jews did to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, it would force the demon out of them???
Which pastor or pastors at LBC is in charge of exorcisms?
"AIDS is the wrath of a just God against homosexuals. To oppose it would be like an Israelite jumping in the Red Sea to save one of Pharaoh's charioteers ... AIDS is not just God's punishment for homosexuals; it is God's punishment for the society that tolerates homosexuals." Dr Jerry Falwell

Every LBC pastor is imbued with the Spirit of Christ and is able to cast out demons. They do not resort to the homoerotic S&M themed and ultimately ineffectual rituals performed by the Catlicks.
Pastor Zeke is exceptionally talented in the rebuking of demons. He has removed numerous demono-rectal infestations with only a single prayer. It's quite the impressive sight.

How exactly does one "get rid of demons" with prayer or even at all? I'd love to see some sort of scientific paper explaining this extraordinary phenomenon.

Let's look at the facts, shall we?
Asperger's Syndrome, by definition, is ''a developmental disorder characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests.''
What evidence is there to support that a social disorder is 'evil'? I would love to see any official reports on an unpreventable syndrome being evil

Oh dear,
This "syndrome" could have been prevented easily if the forefathers and -mothers of the afflicted person had refrained from sinning. You see, while the person who has the genetic makeup susceptible for these "diseases" may not have committed sinful acts whilst in utero, he/she is still under the influence of the Fall from Grace (Genesis 3:6).
Because of this, and in addition to this, God decided to make sin hereditary. The acts of ancestors affect the offspring for many generations. Fortunately, we do have an official report that proves our point of sin = "syndrome" being transmitted vertically.
Exodus 20:5
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Someone hated God 50-150 years ago -> the child is still afflicted.
In case of fecund fornication, the stain remains even longer, for centuries!
Deuteronomy 23:2
A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
We agree that this "syndrome" is developmental and congenital but it is not unpreventable! The ancestors should have thought about this when they either hated Jesus or produced offspring out of wedlock! It is their responsibility. God could have prevented that, but He gave these ancestors free will and they misused it tragically. Fortunately, a simple prayer by a True Believer™ would cure all this. Again, please look at the official report below for confirmation.
James 5:16
Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

First off, you say that if the syndrome were to be hereditary, then a child could 'inherit' the syndrome. But what evidence other than an outdated, 4000 year old book that bases it's statements on myths do you have to prove this? You're basing your entire argument off quotes from a book, the credibility of which is debatable.
Is there any evidence of god affcting these children? Is there any evidence of his 'touch' that is recorded by scientists, that can be seen publicly and without restriction, and that is proven accurate by scientists, and not men who sit and stare at the words of an old all day?
God's very existence is debatable, and you're saying that he can drop a disease or disorder upon someone at the drop of a hat, without leaving a single mark or piece of evidence he was even there in the first place? Yeah, right

Dear Sinner,
God knew very well that we would encounter people like you.
Jeremiah 5:21
Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
The verse above is probably more than adequate to make you realize your foolish ways, as the ancient uneducated people would never have known human psyche in such depth had they not received supernatural intervention from Jesus (the NT is about 1900 years old and not 4000, incidentally). However, if you need further proof, please, look around you! The Whole Creation testifies of God! You only need to read the first verse of the Bible to be convinced!
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Without God there would be no Earth, no sky above it. It this Creation has proven durable, it has lasted for more than 6000 years! Had it been manufactured by the Idol of Random Chance, the second principle of thermodynamics, the entropy, would have destroyed it by now.
Please, let us not forget the eyewitness testimonials, of which the most powerful if the one by Jesus Christ! You trust Jesus, don't you? Well, He has something to tell you!
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
You want peer-reviewed evidence? We've got it! The most prestigious Creation Scientists of the World have published irrefutable proof of Jesus as the Creator! The following citation is from an actual peer-reviewed journal!
Quote:
Jesus Christ is the Creator God. Not only does Scripture affirm it, but during His earthly life and ministry He did the very things we would expect the Creator God to do. He did them in the way that we would expect the Creator God to do them—by His word of authority and the exercise of His will. And the doing of them displayed His glory.
|
In addition, there are many testimonials of people being healed from MS, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, etc. Could a mental illness such as the Asperger's be any more difficult to an omnipotent Deity (Revelation 19:6)? No, it couldn't! In fact, one of the most important proofs of God's constant presence on Earth is the fact that not everyone is healed! God sometimes says "no"! Secular science cannot give you an answer why God sometimes declines prayers, but we can. Yes, we can!
John 9:31
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
You see, only those who are worthy will receive God's Grace. Too may victims of the evil Asperger's fail to be worthy!
As you can see, we do not rely on our own musings, as the Bible reflects the observable reality very well! But I've been too patient with you (not dissimilar to Jesus; Jonah 4:2). It's time you gave us some proof. You're only giving us opinions without providing any actual evidence. It's up to you to prove now that God does not exist and that everything narrated in the Bible is mythical (for instance, the city of Athens; Acts 17:15). I can assure you that we are the most unbiased community you can find and we shall accept any 100% watertight proof on the issues I mentioned. Please.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

<div><br></div><div>You said that you wanted evidence from me, yet you are still backing your arguments with quotes and assumptions. Where is the hard evidence? This is the reason why there are people like myself: The only 'evidence' that people like you provide is quotes from millennium-old books, fairy-tales, and myths.</div><div><br></div><div>You want evidence? I'll give you evidence</div><div><br></div><div>First: How am I supposed to know what has been created around me is by some magical deity resting in a magical place that, despite science disproving it being above out atmosphere, religious people <b>still insist </b>exists, just somewhere. There is absolutely no evidence of a god creating us, our planet, or the universe we reside in. A single verse is far from enough to convince me of some deity existing.</div><div><br></div><div>Second: Again, no evidence to support a god creating our planet. And at first people believed the sky was water held up by a dome (Chek your old testament), and look at how that theory was busted. Also, if our planet is only 6,000 years old as you claim, then how did fossils that have been carbon-dated to be <b>millions of years old </b>end up embedded in the ground of the planet. Also, bear in mind that scientists, <b>not biased creationist ones at that</b>, have found that the earth was formed over 4.5 billion years ago. How did we find this number, you ask? Answer is simple: Carbon-dating and studying the composition of the rocks that are nearest to the Earth's core. Ah, my apologies for the rather messy post. It seems this website likes to log you out and mess up your post while you are trying to educate brainwashed fools. Funny.

Not funny at all - strange that the rest of us have no such problems. A bad workman blames his tools.
Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

That's nice, dear. Say, why don't you tell us about your walk with Christ! I'd love to hear your testimony!
