Can you imagine Jonah scowling there in his booth? I think of him like one of those little men who sit at ferries in the countryside, but someone has built a bridge and everyone drives across that.

Yet even in the face of such churlish behaviour, God is kind.

Having smitten the gourd with worms and zapped Jonah with a vehement east wind, God mentions the anger issue again, although Jonah is unconscious at the time. Let us pray that the gourd of understanding will grow over the anger of this atheist and that the worm of conscience yet begnaw his soul that blessings may reach him, even in his bilious wrath.

A. That was your first post. There is nothing earlier to look at. Although there could ba a SWAT team over your head, the merest glance in a mirror would confirm or refute the proposition (although it would not reveal an invisible yo-yo).

C. I did look back through your posts. Your first contribution didn't make sense, so I looked for something earlier to provide context. There was nothing. Just the other day me and my wife received a prayer alert from her brother that our nephew would be taking a rather critical test in school, and that we should ask the LORD to guide Him and give Him the knowledge to pass it. The entire family prayed, and do you know what? He got an A+ on that test! That's all the proof I need!

8. Atheists are usually bad at debating and end up saying that you can't prove there IS a god, so why should they obey this religion or that? Well, to that I have to answer, just because you can't disprove GODdoesn't mean He doesn't exist. I can't believe the lack of logic these people have!

We do not believe in Heaven. We believe that Jesus did NOT die so we could go to a heaven that we do not believe in.

Just the other day me and my wife received a prayer alert from her brother that our nephew would be taking a rather critical test in school, and that we should ask the LORD to guide Him and give Him the knowledge to pass it. The entire family prayed, and do you know what? He got an A+ on that test! That's all the proof I need!

In other words, your nephews' passing his Social exam is of FAR more importance to your god then the millions of prayers from people who are starving slowly to death? He would rather watch your nephew write on a sheet of paper than help the millions of impoverished people who have no hope left? He would rather have millions of people who prayed to him for help die a slow, painful, cold, lonely death than have your nephew get a mediocre mark on a test?
Take my advice. Study for the test, instead of this pie-in-the-sky nonsense. It is a lot more useful when you need it. What will your nephew do when he grows up, having passed his tests not by skill or knowledge, but by praying to a god? I am not saying that he has passed all of his exams this way, but seriously? Do you honestly think that when he tries to get a job, all his employers will be interested in was his prayer track record? How about college?

God doesn't hear the prayers of the sinners, it's true, but the man who is obedient unto Christ and glorifies Him above all else is triumphant in every way (2 Corinthians 2:14 ). The people in the Third World need only understand this and believe on Jesus, then they too will reap a bountiful harvest (Deuteronomy 28:8).

No. It is not well said at all. Those people worship your god as much as or even more than you do. Those people devote what meagre supplies they have to worshipping him. They do not appreciate many comforts of life, because they have next to none. I am sponsoring a child in Uganda. There are many African territories that are ravaged by war, famine and drought. Is that the fault of the people living there, who dedicate some of the little they have to your god?

Also, that was my point exactly. Your god put a snake in the tree to make them eat the fruit. People's anatomy is designed to partially eat meat. Bears, wolves: All eat meat.
