Isaiah 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
I must admit that I had some misgivings about
Michael Wolff's new bestseller
Fire and Fury. I did even suspect one of its protagonists, Mr
Steve Bannon, of
insanity. Obviosly, Mr. Bannon is just an
ignorant secular strategist who is now fired by our
Orange Agent of Fury, President Trump. The book has received mixed reviews but an unbiased Bible-based reading of it gives us a wonderful glimpse into the daily life of a
President (Trump) whose actions may seem erratic
only and only if the
Biblical basis for these actions is neglected. Thus, I give you here, my Brethren and Sisters, a
Bible-based review of this wonderful
oeuvre! I am going to assess some rousing
quotes from this
masterpiece followed by a
Biblical reading of the citation.
Glory to Jesus!
Quote:
“The campaign, on its face, was not designed to win anything.”
― Michael Wolff, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House
|
This refers to the extremely successful presidential campaign by
Mr. Trump. This is also God's Strategy to win and thus incomprehensibe to the Jews, atheists, Buddhists, and Mrs. Clinton. The campaign humbled
Mr. Trump so He became
exalted!
- Matthew 23:12 - And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Quote:
“Trump talked nonstop and constantly repeated himself. “Here’s the deal,” a close Trump associate told Priebus. “In an hour meeting with him you’re going to hear fifty-four minutes of stories and they’re going to be the same stories over and over again. So you have to have one point to make and you have to pepper it in whenever you can.”
― Michael Wolff, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House

Now, we know that
vain repetitions whilst
Praying are detrimental (Matthew 6:7). However, to repeat and make the sinners understand at least
something is the
method of choice for God/Jesus in everyday conversation. Let us look at some examples
- 2 Samuel 18:33 - And the king was much moved, and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept: and as he went, thus he said, O my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! would God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son!
- 1 Kings 18:39 - And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.
- Psalms 29:5 - The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
Verily, verily, this is how
God does things. Why should
President Trump be satisfied with anything
less? Still, sinners fail to grok
Jesus and the liberals fail to appreciate
President Trump as was foretold by Job.
- Job 33:14 - For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
Quote:
“on the most basic level, Trump just did not, as Spicer later put it, give a ***profanity removed because of our Fragile Ladies***. You could tell him whatever you wanted, but he knew what he knew, and if what you said contradicted what he knew, he simply didn’t believe you.”
― Michael Wolff, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House
|
Of course President Trump would do what He knows is the right thing to do! Jesus H. Christ, He's a
Genius!
President Trump knows what is the good thing to do and He
does it regardless of the opinions of lesser human beings. That is the way it is supposed to be. It would be blasphemous
not to do so!
- James 4:17 - Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.
Also in this respect,
President Trump is a
loyal follower of Jesus.
Quote:
“But not only didn’t he read, he didn’t listen. He preferred to be the person talking. And he trusted his own expertise—no matter how paltry or irrelevant—more than anyone else’s. What’s more, he had an extremely short attention span, even when he thought you were worthy of attention”
― Michael Wolff, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House
|
The
short attention span equals
doing stuff quickly, exactly as
Jesus commanded. Even
Satan was supposed to be
hasty in his actions!
- John 13:27 - And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
- Acts 12:7 - And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
Quote:
“Time spent with Trump on the campaign plane was often an epic dissing experience: everybody around him was an idiot.”
― Michael Wolff, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House
|
OK, what happened to
those who tried to
better Mr. Trump on the campaign jet?
Jesus tells us what happened!
- Job 24:24 - They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
Mr. Trump has fired most of them already, just as He
should do based on
Scripture. Glory!
And now onto
the quote that more than anything reveals the
humble and - may I say -
Christ-like character of
President Trump.
Quote:
“Once, coming back on his plane with a billionaire friend who had brought along a foreign model, Trump, trying to move in on his friend’s date, urged a stop in Atlantic City. He would provide a tour of his casino. His friend assured the model that there was nothing to recommend Atlantic City. It was a place overrun by white trash. “What is this ‘white trash’?” asked the model. “They’re people just like me,” said Trump, “only they’re poor.”
― Michael Wolff, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House
|
This is what
Jesus did. He took the form of a vagrant preacher, seemingly
crazy, who went down (or actually up) unto the
Cross. Compared to the ruling elite of the Congress of that era (the
Temple), He would certainly have been taken as "white trash". And now
President Trump follows in His footsteps.
- Philippians 2:8 - And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
And everything
President Trump does is for His
True Christian™ Brethren!
- Lamentations 3:20 - My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
There we have it! By
an honest account on the behavior of
President Trump this
wonderful book shows how
- a) the Biblical basis of President Trump's actions remains as strong as evah!
- b) the swarming liberal masses misunderstand everything because they no longer know the Bible by heart
But
we do. The exciting anecdotes and pericopes of Mr. Wolff's book show us how the
teachings of Jesus continue to play a pivotal role in
President Trump's politics. A
must-read for all true Christians (reading level 3, so some of the Ladies will have to wait for the
audio book). I am now certain that the inherent
humility and
humbleness of
President Trump were the only things that made Him
respectfully request the banning of this classic!
Yours in Christ,
Elmer
