Friend, if you read Acts chapter 10, you will see a list of items that were removed from the "unclean" list.

Acts 10:12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

This list contains, 4 footed animals, creeping things and fowls of the air (those were originally unclean), now those things are acceptable. PRAISE JESUS!!! Which is why it's ok to eat a pork chop.

We are not filthy Christ-killing jews! Jesus freed us from the jew dietary laws (Mark 7:15-19, Acts 10:12-16, Rom. 14:1-3) although some members still regard lobster with suspicion I have to admit.

However, most aspects of the Old Testament are still in effect, constrained only by secular law. The ceremonial aspect of the Old Testament is no longer required to be observed, but God and His moral laws never change.
