More God-mockers call the Almighty a liar. Of course, they use that atheist parlor trick known as radiocarbon dating, which is somehow more reliable than God's preserved Word.

Camels Had No Business in Genesis

There are too many camels in the Bible, out of time and out of place.

Camels probably had little or no role in the lives of such early Jewish patriarchs as Abraham, Jacob and Joseph, who lived in the first half of the second millennium B.C., and yet stories about them mention these domesticated pack animals more than 20 times. Genesis 24, for example, tells of Abraham’s servant going by camel on a mission to find a wife for Isaac.

These anachronisms are telling evidence that the Bible was written or edited long after the events it narrates and is not always reliable as verifiable history. These camel stories “do not encapsulate memories from the second millennium,” said Noam Mizrahi, an Israeli biblical scholar, “but should be viewed as back-projections from a much later period.”

The archaeologists, Erez Ben-Yosef and Lidar Sapir-Hen, used radiocarbon dating to pinpoint the earliest known domesticated camels in Israel to the last third of the 10th century B.C. — centuries after the patriarchs lived and decades after the kingdom of David, according to the Bible. Some bones in deeper sediments, they said, probably belonged to wild camels that people hunted for their meat. Dr. Sapir-Hen could identify a domesticated animal by signs in leg bones that it had carried heavy loads.

The fact that anyone still gives credence to the false god Science just shows how lost the overwhelming majority of humanity is.

Fortunately this nonsense is easy to refute, if we look at the historical record, it shows that there were camels in biblical times. Genesis 24 tells us that Abraham had so many camels that his servant could just take 10 of them with him on a trip to find a wife, so obviously there were camels then, it's written black on white, those camels can hardly be called someone's figments of imagination.

I thought "camel" was the olde fashioned King James Version way of saying "dinosaur".

How else can we explain Matthew 19:23-24:

23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

I don't care what any of them say. As a Christian mother, I take my responsibilities very, very seriously. One of my responsibilities is to educate my children with a focus on fearing and obeying God (Ecclesiastes 12:13). If I do nothing else, I will at least show my children the way to Heaven. In the mean time, we explore science, as it is God's creation, and I make sure my children learn what every Christian child ought to learn - the Holy Bible is trustworthy and credible to explain life, the universe, man's role therein, and man's relationship to his Creator. We listened to this so-called debate where Ken Ham served Bill Nye and his so-called science up on a platter. I think Ken Ham's answer to the question, "What, if anything, would ever change your mind?" should be the answer all Christians reply with when challenged by those who would ridicule and mock the LORD:

Well, the answer to that is, I'm a Christian. and as a Christian I can't prove it to you, but God has definitely shown me very clearly through His Word, and He has shown Himself in the Person of Jesus Christ, that the Bible is the Word of God.

I admit that this is where I start from. I can challenge people that you can go and test that, you can make predictions based on that, you can check the prophesies in the Bible, you can check the statements in Genesis. I did a little bit of that tonight.

I can't ultimately prove that to you. All I can do is say to someone is look, if the Bible really is what It claims to be, if It really is the Word of God (and that's what It claims), then check it out! And the Bible says that if you come to God believing that He Is, He will reveal Himself to you, and you will know!

As Christians we can say we know, and so as far as the Word of God is concerned,

... NO, No One Is Ever Going To Convince Me That The Word Of God Is Not True!

And so to this we can apply the prediction of camels in the ancient Bible Lands. Well, if we look to Genesis, it tells us the were there.

And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.
Genesis 12:16



And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.
And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water.
Genesis 24:10-11

There are actually so many instances where the Holy Word of God mentions the use of camels, that it must be true. We know this because we are Christians, and like Ken Ham, no evidence can convince us the Word of God is not True!
