2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Offensive? You are the one who called God Gay, and I am the offensive one? So you are saying that God should follow Bible as well? He is the maker of rules, rules don't make him. And it is not necessary that he should appear in the same for before moses. Also, are you saying that Monkeys were not created by God? Why would he be ashamed to take form of his own creation?

(I'm not saying you should follow it, it's entirely your decision. But no one can deny it has some interesting principles. I'd say you should try, because maybe you are going from what you have heard and condemn it for being bad without understanding it. Maybe the two books say similar things. If it won't burden your conscience, you may go through the basics and Bombard me with anything you find objectionable. If you find it good, you can share with others, if not, God will forgive he, won't he? I mean, you were just trying to see if the religion is against the God really or not, if it's not, it'll clear your anger against it away, and if it is, you can beg God for forgiveness as I heard you do, which will redouble your faith in Christianity as well.)

Romans 6:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. I don't think we need to beg God, that's done for us. Just tell him what you want. I don't see your art as "false gods" - they don't show men or beasts do they? Just weird things like apes with 8 arms and stuff.
Exodus 20 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: There are no apes with 8 arms in heaven or earth or in the water are there? It's similar to saying, whether God exists or not. Which view is right, and how do you know (Just using an analogy here. No offense meant) It's a matter of belief. If you don't want to believe it's upto you.
Er.. I was explaining they have more sides to them than just spiritual. Doesn't confessing your sin calm you mind down, lessening the guilt? Just because it affects mind as well does not mean it is entirely related to mind only.

Maybe it was something I said. If so, then I am sorry that you are upset, but I do not apologize for what I have said. My words and thoughts come from the Holy Scriptures. India asked to investigate Hindu massacre of Christians
Quote:
The murders in Orissa state may have been the worst anti-Christian violence since India achieved independence 61 years ago. One nun was gang-raped and over 140 churches, orphanages and other Christian organisations were destroyed and burned.
The Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC) asked for a full investigation into the killings, which were sparked by the murder of a local Hindu leader.
"There seems to be a larger conspiracy behind the attack on Christians and that needs to be investigated," said Sajan George, the GCIC president. He added that all Christian organisations had condemned the killing of the Hindu leader, Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati, on Aug 23. They had been "totally dismayed" by the resulting onslaught against Christians, which is continuing in Orissa.
While this was the worst hit area, other states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh also witnessed anti-Christian violence.
Christians comprise around 2.5 per cent of India's total population of over 1.2 billion. Over 80 per cent of the country's people are Hindu.

Ah, of course sir. I just remembered reading "He begged for God's forgiveness" somewhere and I thought I could use it here. Maybe somewhere in a novel or something. Also, is it necessary that every creature that God took form should exist in heaven/earth/water? I mean, if he wants to take a particular shape, what right do we have to judge his choice? We are his children, and we should love him no matter what he does, right?
And about space, I.. don't know what to say. I'm familiar with most of the concepts they have (I was a topper of Astrophysics subject ) but none of that would ever convince me that God isn't real. That I am perfectly sure of. He exists.

Well, then, what's the point of washing yourself if it doesn't accomplish anything concrete? You're saying they wash themselves because they want to believe they are forgiven. All it does is make them feel better. It can't make them forgiven in reality.

There are a few instances in the Bible where God appeared in the flesh, such as in Genesis 18 when He appeared to Abraham with two angels. Such a manifestation is known as a theophany. Whenever He has appeared in the flesh it has always been as a man. Why would He want to appear as anything else?

Go and read a Bible. Lurk more. That's got all you need to know about God in it. To tell you more we'd need to quote the whole thing to you. Not that you read it when we do!

Accepted. In short, we are believing our holy scriptures. They are true, true for everyone. So as it is said that washing yourself in holy water gives you forgiveness for sins, it is true. I was pointing out that it also has psychological benifits.

Read it! See how ridiculously wrong your whole Veda thing or whatever actually is. There's no way the two are compatible.
I don't know what else we're supposed to say to you. It's like you think splashing about in a river means you're baptised or something.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. I feel like someone warning a kid who is dancing in the road of his danger but the kid won't listen and fights me off while denying the existence of traffic.

Calling someone a big gay monkey does sound insulting to me. It is said in a scripture as old as Bible (if not older) that it was a form of God.
Rules of Bible, or for any holy scripture are for humans. It is not required that God has to follow them, because he made the rules, and he can change them if he wants. Lastly, I have just told you that the said form of God is completely about Bramhacharya, or (there is no equivalent in English but 'procreating the right way' could be the closest). On what basis are you calling it 'Gay'?
About that I've heard an interesting saying though. "You see the world as you are" or literal translation. "The world will appear to you similar to Goggles/shades you are wearing". If you are wearing dark, it will look Dark, red if they're red, and so on. Hope you get the rest.

So your god could break his own rules and do something that would be evil for humans to do and it would be okay because he's god? How is that right?

In the exact same way Bible is true. God wrote it, he said it is true, and he doesn't lie. Right?
I never said I rejected Karma. I said, the principle from Bhagwad Gita tells us that we should do our work, and not because of getting Good karma, but it's meant to be done right. That doesn't mean I'm saying it's untrue. It says that your motive should be not to collect Good karma, but to do the right things. The karma will come along.

Now you're getting it. You dot heads are saying God is a big gay monkey and that's insulting to God. We're not saying anything about God. We're just taking heed of the Bible, which is the only reliable source of information about God, and noticing that God does not say He is a big gay monkey. God does not say it's OK for dot headed idol worshippers to worship idols.
Leviticus 26:1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
Exodus 23:24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
Zechariah 13:2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
Read it! Heed it! follow it!

He chose the form of a man.
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus That art. If you draw or carve a weird thing that is not in the sky or the earth or the sea I can't see how that would be banned. Say a frog with a snail's head and 9 cat's legs. There's no such thing. So you could carve one of them and not fall foul of Ex. 20
But if you bowed down to it, I'm not so sure. What do you think Red?
