Top Ten Questions to Ask Your Atheist Science Teacher! -
08-15-2009, 02:31 AM
Well, school's just around the corner and that means millions of Christian students in our country are going to be taking atheist propoganda indoctrination courses a.k.a science classes. Unfortunately, many Christian kids buy into the lies their atheist teachers tell them and start to question their faith. Instead of questioning the reality of seven-day creation or God stopping the sun from revolving around the Earth, question your science teacher instead! Here are ten surefire questions that will leave your teacher stumped! - If humans evolved from chimpanzees, why are chimpanzees still around?
- The Big Bang Theory proposes that everything in the Universe started from something called singularity which is smaller than an atom. How can you stuff everything in the universe in that? It's hard enough to stuff four suitcases in the trunk of your car!
- If the earth really revolves around the sun, then why when we look at the sun we can see it plainly revolving around the earth? (And if the earth was moving around the sun, wouldn't we all fly off into space?)
- If women were not created from Adam's rib, why is it that men have one fewer rib than women?
- How do scientists know stars are "millions of light years away"? Have they been there and back? Do they have a tape measure that stretchs that long?
- Scientists say all our genetic information is coded on DNA. But DNA is an acid! How can you write information in acid? You can write information on a hard drive, but not a liquid!
- People have been wearing clothes for thousands of years. Why haven't our bodies evolved natural clothes that come out of our skin then?
- If there really are millions and millions of species, then how could have Adam named them all? Obviously, there's not that many species then! (Gen 2:18-22)
- If our brains are just a mishmash of biochemistry, how come chemicals like gasoline or bug spray can't think?
- Einstein said that if you approach the speed of light, time slows down. Once you hit the speed of light, time stops. If that is so, how come light can travel from point A to point B if time is stopped for light?
Don't let your science teacher weasel out of these questions! If he makes some stupid comments like "Well that question is meaningless" or "Evolution doesn't work that way" or "You have a poor understanding of science", don't let him get away with it! He is only trying to buy time because he know he can't answer your questions. Press him and make him answer your questions. That's what a teacher is for...right?

Amen Reverend! Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. And Christians are blessed with an extraordinary God and an extraordinary Book of reference (the Bible) that answers everything.
What does that apostate religion of secular "science" have? A bunch of heathens "experts" competing with each other for earthly rewards, and "Wikipedia" which changes its "truth" moment by moment by whatever seems to be currently popular. And when these scientists do manage to come up with some weak answer, they can't back up their claims with chapter and verse like we can.
Kids, if you are strong in your faith, then YOU can be the teachers this coming school year!
These top 10 questions are awesome! I am copying them down now
_
_
Proverbs 27:17
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Well Reverand,
I doubt a grade school teacher would know anything about those questions. Even at a high school level, they only learn within the departments curriculum. You would need to ask a University teacher.
This is from what I know:
2.There is a big bang theory that states that the big bang occurs an infinite amount of times. I don't really know the specifics, but supposedly, the Big Bang actually created space in order to expand. It will then continue to expand until it runs out of its' base energy "Law of Conservation Of Matter". Once it reaches that point, the universe will fall back onto itself and reach singularity once again. Then another big bang will occur.
3. We would not fly off the earth because of gravity(mass of planet). i.e since the moon is smaller, it has less gravity that's why we can see people jumping hundreds of feet into the air in moon video's. There's more to it, but I'm not very knowledgeable about the theory, except the equations.
5.First of all "How to measure the distance to the sun:
http://curious.astro.cornell.edu/que...php?number=400
In order to measure the distance from further stars, they use a method called "Triangulation". Basically they use the distance from the sun and use a triangle to see how much it's moved every month.
As for very far stars:
Quote:
There is no direct method currently available to measure the distance to stars farther than 400 light years from Earth, so astronomers instead use brightness measurements. It turns out that a star's color spectrum is a good indication of its actual brightness. The relationship between color and brightness was proven using the several thousand stars close enough to earth to have their distances measured directly. Astronomers can therefore look at a distant star and determine its color spectrum. From the color, they can determine the star's actual brightness. By knowing the actual brightness and comparing it to the apparent brightness seen from Earth (that is, by looking at how dim the star has become once its light reaches Earth), they can determine the distance to the star.

9. I think there is electric involved, since brain waves have a frequency. If your frequency is similar to another person, partially reading their mind is possible i.e identical twins.
10.I think it was because "photons" are destroyed the moment they are created. Since no time can pass while "nothing happens", a photon can move anywhere in the universe in an instant.
Anyways, I'll try asking a Biology teacher about your first question. I'm sure they will be stumped because there is actually no proof of it. I look forward to what lame lie they make up.

If humans evolved from chimpanzees, why are chimpanzees still around?
Chimpanzees and Humans both evolved from a common ancestor, which, surprise surprise, isn't still around.
The Big Bang Theory proposes that everything in the Universe started from something called singularity which is smaller than an atom. How can you stuff everything in the universe in that? It's hard enough to stuff four suitcases in the trunk of your car!
The vast majority of the structure of an atom is empty space, if you made a scale model of a hydrogen atom with, the nucleus the size of, say, a golfball, the electrons would be about 500,000 miles away. In a singularity, the atoms are compressed such that there is none of the "emptiness"; you could fit everything into an atom sized space with room to spare.
If the earth really revolves around the sun, then why when we look at the sun we can see it plainly revolving around the earth? (And if the earth was moving around the sun, wouldn't we all fly off into space?)
Because from our perspective, the sun is revolving around the earth, due to the earths spin; in relation to the earth, which we understand as being motionless, even though it isn't, the sun does seem to rise and fall, revolving around the earth. Also, lrn2 Gravity. I hear gravity gives you fundamormons alot of trouble.
If women were not created from Adam's rib, why is it that men have one fewer rib than women?
They dont. lrn2 anatomy
How do scientists know stars are "millions of light years away"? Have they been there and back? Do they have a tape measure that stretchs that long?
As has been said, the science of triangulation.
Scientists say all our genetic information is coded on DNA. But DNA is an acid! How can you write information in acid? You can write information on a hard drive, but not a liquid!
DNA is not a liquid. And why is it so easy for you to believe that you can write information on a computer hard drive, but not DNA? A bit convenient for your argument isn't it.
People have been wearing clothes for thousands of years. Why haven't our bodies evolved natural clothes that come out of our skin then?
What do you think skin and hair is, if not natural clothing, which protects our flesh from the elements, and keeps us warm. Because we wear clothes, our bodies haven't had to naturally adapt, ie. our skin hasn't had to grow thicker, and our hair has receded from the majority of the human body.
If there really are millions and millions of species, then how could have Adam named them all? Obviously, there's not that many species then! (Gen 2:18-22)
I will even use your own logic to disprove you on this one. According to your theologists, Adam lived for over 900 hundred years. I think he had enough time.
If our brains are just a mishmash of biochemistry, how come chemicals like gasoline or bug spray can't think?
Gasoline & Bug-spray =/= Biochemistry. Also, brains are a highly organized "mishmash" of biochemistry.
Einstein said that if you approach the speed of light, time slows down. Once you hit the speed of light, time stops. If that is so, how come light can travel from point A to point B if time is stopped for light?
Time is relative to the universal constant. No, not God kids, but the speed of light. For objects that are traveling close to the speed of light, time slows down, because time is dependent on the relative speed of light, ie. If you'r in a car traveling a tiny bit slower than a train beside you, the train doesn't seem to be traveling incredibly fast, however, if you are walking, the train speeds past you, due to the principal of Relative Speed.
I'm 17, and I just answered all your so-called "unanswerable questions"
Also, inb4 heathen scum, i'm actually Christian, I just hate mormons.

I also think it's pretty obvious I said that ONLY because he didn't want me to.
You also ignore all my compliments .
Back to the subject, are you going to make an actual arguement? Or just post more false, LIEbral blasphemy?

It's not that I didn't want you to, I just knew that you most likely would.
lrn2 internet.
Also, question for you, how come humans don't live as long as they did in the bible. Even Adam, who commited the original sin, lived to be 900, so don't give me any of that, humans arent close enough to God bullshit.

No seriously, a forum, is a place of discussion.
I'm discussing things with you.
It seems all too convenient that when I ask you a difficult question, this place is not open for discussion, but when I answer yours, it's okay to attack my answers.
Selective much?
