You actually believe that positive emotions are only possible through Jesus? You really mean that followers of other religions can not feel positive emotions? You should know enough about biology that other animals than humans also have positive emotions and they surely all are atheists. Emotions are independent of religion.

Are you telling me a woman can't love her child because she's an atheist? In your universe then most of the world is without emotion then, as most people on the planet don't believe in your Jesus. Anyone who thinks atheists feel no emotion and that you must be a Christian to feel love is lacking in the brains department.

How many non-Christians did you test, to find out whether they were able to feel positive emotions, without believing in Jesus?

We haven't done any less research than you have. Anyway, why would we take the word of a bunch of academics over the evidence we see every day in our lives? Everyone knows that academic scientists are a bunch of liberals trying to force their atheistic, pro-gay agenda on the rest of society. Don't believe me? Go watch Expelled and learn how real scientists get treated when they have the courage to stand up to the atheist orthodoxy.

Just on a personal note, I see that your main debating tactic is to insult the intelligence of anyone who disagrees with you. That doesn't get you very far in reasoned debate. Then again, I don't expect much from you. After all, you're an atheist, and the Bible tells us that only a fool says in his heart that there is no God. I suppose you're doing your foolish best.

It's Christians who don't love their children. They have children with the supposed knowledge that there is a good chance those children will spend eternity in hell. If I believed in that story I'd be much too frightened to take the risk of having children.

Reading your message, I would say to you, go live in a cave. No one is trying to force atheism on you. They're asking to stop forcing religion on the rest of the world and preventing same-sex marriage from being legalized among other things. Expelled is about Intelligent Design, not atheism. ID, by the way, is a pseudo-science that does not deserve to be called science.

"Expelled" was a piece of drek produced with less journalistic integrity than the Weekly World News.

Real scientists produce actual data and testable conclusions that stand up to peer review -- something that no creationist has ever managed to accomplish regarding creationism.

If you don't like what scientists have to say, then perhaps you should stop availing yourself of the fruits of their labor, including modern medical care and computer technology.

I'm debating to display a rational meaning to the world and evidence around it. The scientific evidence and how that has had an impact on what we use to believe and what we believe today. I'm introducing the word evidence to you guys, something you've never heard of as there is none in your religion. No evidence of God, heaven, hell or any other meaning in the Bible. Even when you say the Bible is evidence, you're just making an argument from ignorance. That doesn't get you very far in a reasoned debate about your religion.

This; when was the last time anyone heard of an Atheist accused of "child abuse" because they disciplined their child by locking them in a shed over the weekend? I don't think the Bible gave an exact body count, but yes, that's the basic idea. The Book of Revelation tells us that Jesus will return to Earth in the End Times with a sword for a tongue. I don't think He plans to use it to carve his birthday turkey.

Jesus will only kill SINFUL children. He won't kill children who have repented their sins by accepting Him as their personal Lord and Savior. After all, Jesus loves them.
