Kids say the darndest things! -
08-17-2014, 09:05 PM
One time one of my daughters looked me straight in the eye and said, "you're not gonna marry me off to some creepy old guy, Daddy!" I never laughed so hard in all my life!! For a female she sure has a sophisticated wit. Everyone knows that in the Christian perspective, a mere 47 year age difference between a husband and his 15 year old wife is nothing. LOL!!
Another time, one of my youngest sons shouted at me:"If you don't stop hitting mommy, I'll kill you!". What a lark!!
The boy is a slippery little cus, though, and after nearly 4 hours of...hide and seek?...I had lost my sense of humor, but that is another story.

Little girls can be such divas when left to their own devices, don't you think?
I'm sure she showed due appreciation when you reminded her the difference between these years will be a mere drop in the bucket when she takes into consideration Eternity.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Thank you for that wisdom, Sister E. Eternity puts things in perfect perspective.
We have several very young brides in Freehold. They are the happiest women in the United States. Often they volunteer for community projects, but sometimes withdraw when challenged by their hubbies. This is a sign they are devoted to their husbands and are happy in their domestic lives.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Who said it's known to the law? What is the law doing poking around in his house? Are you with the NSA? The IRS? FBI? Where is your search warrant? He has a right to an attorney, and he doesn't have to say anything to you jackbooted goons!

I would also like to take the time to say i do not live in america i believe alot of you to have the dumbest laws such as in New Jersey you are not allowed to wear a bulletproof vest while committing a crime

"Beating" is a euphemism for the loving application of discipline as outlined by our religious beliefs. Why do you Nazi thugs always try to misinterpret everything and trample on our religious freedom? The First Amendment says that everyone is free to be Baptists, and that you Fedgov finks are not allowed to infringe on our religious freedom.

Ephesians 5:22-24
22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
When people persecute me for punishing my wife as God has punished all of us for the sin that womankind has allowed into the world, I take comfort in Matthew 5:10. I Timothy 2:12 also gives me the strength to carry on even when my arm starts cramping and my grip on the knout becomes tenuous. If Jesus will not tolerate a mouthy shrew, then why should I?

That is my favourite bubke quote. It speaks to the very centre of my soul.
My daughter is 7 months old, and my husband will be looking to find her a suitable husband in the next few years, once we know how she will grow up to look it will be easier. She is a little young just now. Our sons will be taught the importance of discipline and how it differs from abuse ( which obviously is a sin) once they are a bit older too. They are currently 15 months old. Our sons first word ( after mama and Dada) was Jesus. They can now say "is Jesus will" when asked when some things happen. Is it wrong to be so proud of ones own children?

My 3rd son once told me he wanted to be a dancer. We laughed and then I gave him a good old fashion wooping. Funny is funny, but never allow your kid to have funny ideas or else you'll have to stone him later for his own good.
1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Their education is complete! When will they start fighting for American freedom in Iraq?
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

When we move to freehold, and become recognised as American citizens. This may be a challenge, but the Lord will provide us with the way to get there.
