Why does God sometimes reward evil people for their evil deeds, while ignoring goodhearted peoples need for help and support?

Romans 6:23 clearly says that those who are sinners will be granted death, but yet i have seen so many people who clearly were evil sinners who were rewarded with great lives. Why is this?
